Anyone else here only have game in a second language?
Any of the normal problems I have talking, flirting etc in English go away if I am able to speak to a woman in Spanish. I thought this was just being an American in a different country. However I am able to game Spanish speaking women in the USA also.

When speaking your second language, you generally lack the nuance and subtlety of your birth language. This leads to you being more direct in your words. This can be charming and disarming to the other person, who can quickly tell you are not using your native tongue, and will give you more smiles and leeway than if you were just another dude.

For example, in English, you might say, "Excuse me, can you tell me what time it is?" or "That's a nice hairstyle, it reminds me of blah blah blah".
But in your new language: "What time is it?" or "I like your hair".

Also you feel confidence when wielding this new talent, that has taken you months/years of study. But to the native ear, it is still pidgin, so the attitude you give out does not match the hesitant demeanor people expect of someone learning a new skill. This piques their curiosity: 'this guy can't speak properly but acts like swaggering mofo, why is that?'

Yes, that's a "dilemma" that some of us multilingual guys have to deal with. When gaming in Russian (my 3rd language) I go more direct and the fact that I have an accent makes me seem a bit more exotic.Banana As for my English game it sucks (Even though it is basically my native language) as I've never been good with transitioning from indirect to direct game in it.

If women aren't used to men from a different culture/region speaking their language, then being able to communicate in their native tongue is a genuine demonstration of higher value.

You're going to get more positive reactions if you succeed in immediately demonstrating higher value in an interaction. This is going to improve your sense of comfort in the interaction and result in more confidence to flirt, etc.

But on a simpler level, speaking a different language will often put people in a different state and if you aren't 100% fluent, you'll often have no choice but to speak very directly, so your whole approach will be different.

Enjoy it. Speaking Chinese used to put me in a different state, but now I speak it so much daily, that it's inter-changeable with English in terms of who I am while speaking it.

I speak very close to fluently in Spanish.. I only don't know some of the verb tenses beyond the main six. Sometimes people don't understand me because I use a local Dominican word.

In my opinion it matters not so much unless you are facing a truly difficult task.

Most often you can seduce girls with basic English, since many women don't know much more than that.

As long as you are able to make funny observations and convey the vibe, then it does not matter much. If your grasp of the language is not sufficient to make one lame joke, then you need to learn more.

Otherwise a lot of Game is non-verbal despite being verbal. The extreme form I have heard and did not even believe it was possible is the one the LINUX has described in his Colombia thread. Frankly I unknowingly used that before in my life, but did not realize that. With the right cues you simply go into quick escalation and give her the I-wanna-fuck-you look.

Even if you both don't understand each other at all then it is not impossible to get the bang.

I'm better in Thai. Much less inhibited and more direct in what I say. I guess it's because the words don't carry the same weight to me that they would in English, and so I just say them without holding back. Also sometimes a more simple way of saying things can be charming, like how often good writers write very concisely.

If your game is dependant on X factor, then you dont have game.

Examples:

- Language
- Location
- Skin tone of the average population
- Money

Up your game and stop wishing it where easier.
