An Iowan man worked as a mall security guard. One woman's complaint of him being a sexual harasser caused him to lose his job. He came back with a gun to kill the woman.

Article didn't mention if he'd actually been sexually harassing women. Given that such terms have faded to a broad and vague concepts, I want to know if he had been pinching butts or asked them each out on a date once. I'm assuming he was a nut, not that he'd been unjustly fired.

As somebody who's been job hunting for some time now picturing being fired, in this job market, over some twit finding you "creepy"... Sad to say I'm finding it hard to blame him.

Given the lack of details regarding the allegations, it is safe to assume he did not touch or proposition these women. Simply put, he was guilty of having no game and/or being creepy.

I don't need to mention to anyone here what the results would have been had the genders been reversed. If I complained about someone at work (a women) harassing me, I would probably be laughed out of the room. It really is amazing how far people will bend over backwards to "protect" women. Women who lie about trivial BS such as this. Her feelings are all that matters. The problem is when the importance of "feels" extends beyond the solipsistic mind of a female and bleeds into the environment around them. Which of course is what we're seeing today on a massive scale.


As far as I'm concerned, his being guilty of not giving these bitches the tingles is what caused him to get fired, and in turn, murder this chick.

I love how some people become an avowed socialist out to protect worker's rights when it's man vs woman.

The dude annoyed several women. He works for an outfit that relies on pleasing the public. His mission is to keep customers safe and satisfied and he was apparently failing at that. So his firing is perfectly sound, if he indeed bothered customers. Maybe customers were oversensitive, but that's beside the point.

That he went on to murder someone over it shows he was profoundly sick if not outright evil.

Employment is at will in most states, and certainly in libertarian policies. You can be fired for virtually any reason. So asking that employers justify their actions is something of an act in futility. Employers shouldn't fire people indiscriminately, but it's ultimately their discretion under at will laws.

I don't blame the mall or the people who work there, at least not individually. But when HR departments are so systemically anti-male eventually there's going to be blowback from some desperate mentally ill individuals.

As the other guy in this thread said, how quickly would a company be to shitcan a female employee if there were reports she was harassing men? Pfft.

"Series of complaints" doesn't tell much, wouldn't be surprised if that literally meant 2. This guy apparently got married in autumn, that he would be regularly hitting on coworkers and customers seems a stretch.

No need to jump to conclusions. We don't know if the allegations are true or not, but it was enough to spur him to murder. A failure to ask why, on the part of society, will lead to more events like this.

It's kind of a chicken / egg thing, isn't it?


Society is churning out weak men with no masculine guidance by the truckload. Add to that the social ramifications of unrestrained and optimized hypergamy, what you get is men with nowhere to turn. That masculine energy will express itself in destructive ways if it is not channeled properly.

There's gonna be a lot more Elliot Rodger's coming down the pike. Now in this case the guy apparently wasn't an incel, but I would be willing to bet that his murderous rage came from (at least in part) sexual frustration coupled with losing his job.

I agree it's important to ask, and to design our society to protect human life, and to scrutinize deaths to see if they were preventable. That said, I don't think there's much at fault with the situation except the man himself.

We've seen too many cases where women conspired to ruin a guy's life.

That being said, I'm sure that we can all agree that killing a person is (in this case, certainly) the wrong thing to do.

What is more to point, is the question of how often are we going be seeing this happen in a society that criminalizes normal male behaviour?

You know I think I was in this guys shoes once on some level. Only married a year, I really wanted to bang one of my wife's friends. Bad. Being married young only fuels the fire to fuck around. A man wants to work magic on other women. An early twenties guy is horny as the sun is hot.

So, after examining the above facts here is the most likely conclusion:

He wasn't being rude to anyone on his job. He wasn't trying to be a pick-up artist on the job and shitting where he eats. His 'prior-complaints leading up to his firing' are almost certainly trumped-up charges. His crime? Being a beta male raised without a father and a domineering mother.

He probably would say things to mall customers like,

"Hello sir. Enjoying your day?

"Hi Ma'am. You look lovely today!"

"Hello folks. Enjoying the weather?"

"Hello Missus. Feeling pretty today?"

"Goodday sir, you are one lucky guy to have your wife."

And then one day, a feminist walks into the mall, and he says something like this:

"Hello Missus beautiful! Are you making people happy today?"

A completely innocent remark that was standard-fare for a once-great America, but now some woman completely TRIGGERED by her feminist brainwashing thinks,

"What a creep! Look at him objectify and harass women like that? Who does this loser think he is? Why does this mall employ such a worthless man?"

She stops, gives him a dirty look, and asks him,

"Do you seriously believe it's okay to talk to a woman like that?"

He replies,

"Telling a woman she's beautiful is the greatest thing any man can do for a woman," with a big smile.

She makes a face of pure disgust, and turns away from him while speedily walking away. Unsure of what just happened, Alex turns around and continues on his day of greeting customers and watching over the mall.

And she goes to the mall's HR department. She files a complaint. The HR department reviews some security videos, and finds this man giving "sexual" compliments to women. The feminist continues, "I hope I won't need to expose this man on twitter and give the mall a bad name before he harrasses even more women."

So, rather than talk to this guy he just gets fired on the spot. After all, security guards are easy to replace - a dime a dozen. They could probably find an illegal alien to do it at half-price anyways. A manager goes up to him,

"Alex, can we have your badge please. We've been told of your sexual harassment to other women and this is unacceptable here."

Alex tries to protest but is met with, "Alex if you do not comply we will be forced to call the police."

And this poor man, who receives such injustice is immediately filled with burning rage; all of the issues of his childhood neglect well-up inside of him, and he stops thinking rationally.

"What the fuck is this. How am I supposed to keep my wife now? How can we have children if I have no income? What am I supposed to do now? I DID NOTHING WRONG!! THAT FUCKING BITCH! THAT STUPID WHORE! I KNOW WHO DID THIS. SHE THINKS I'M A SEXUAL HARASSER?"

Alex believes his life is over. He knows he won't find another job; it took him nearly a year to find this one. He won't find another girl; he's already balding and his current wife is so beautiful to him it is impossible to imagine life without her. He already knows he'll never find a girl as good as her to be his wife; he'll never get to be the father he never had.

He goes home, crying. He finds his gun and loads it. And he rushes back to the mall with blood in his eyes.


Postscript:

I cannot prove if the above is true, but based on my understanding of beta-male psychology raised by single-mothers, and feminist psychology, the above is probably very accurate. Hopefully in the court the video evidence will be released to the public to see what exactly caused him to be fired and I can see if my understanding is any good.

Also, I do not think this man was justified to murder. He must be imprisoned. But the amount of self-control it would have taken him not to snap was more than an average man could handle; indeed it would have required a Saint-like amount of virtue to not blow up after having his life completely destroyed. I don't think this is the "average man." I think this is someone with some serious Machiavellian/Manson tendencies.

He's a security guard. But from what I can tell, he locked down a microbiologist who has taken out patents on inventions. Plus, she's taller.

As most of us know, women don't usually date down, especially to the extent here. On top of that, women also do not usually date shorter. Yet he pulled both of these things off. Both. This is not easy to do. What are the odds of that?

Whatever they are, he overcame them. The problem is that the same sheer aggression that allowed him to transcend both height and job status also brought him down in the end. He couldn't turn it off -- with other women or with his temper.

This is the kind of flaw Shakespeare used to write about. What makes you breaks you. Caesar was beloved because of his benevolent nature, but trusting the wrong person brought him down in the end.

On a lighter note, maybe he had Bruno Mars game. That's who he sort of looks like.
