First year of game, I read Mystery Method and had no idea what I was doing. I lost my virginity and had an awful long distance relationship with a psycho chick. A lot of trial and error.
Second year, I got a few notches towards the end of college, had one fling/fuck buddy but had no girlfriends.
Third year, I discovered Bang, Roosh, the manosphere, etc.; had multiple girlfriends, a random threesome at a Mexican resort, and a couple new notches.
Fourth year, I added a few dozen more notches through a combination of night and online dating, social circle crazy Vegas trips, had multiple FB's, and plenty of ONS's.
Fifth year I added even more notches and juggled multiple LTR's and a small harem for some time before settling on one for a while.

So yeah, I got laid, and it improved exponentially.

My first year was one of my best. I read MM and started traveling through central and South America. 6 months in I found better game books and really started to get into it. My notch count was high but mostly 6s and 7s. Now my notches are lower but my quality has gone up. Lately I have the best of both worlds and my quality/ quantity varies depending on the time of year, what country I'm in, how busy I am with work. Even though that first year was lower quality I got around 20 new flags when I had almost no flags to start with so it will be hard to top.

I had about 6 months of no "success" per se, but I kept going because I could feel I was getting closer.

I had to accept at first just how bad I was, then I could see my progress.

After about 6-7 months the pussy floodgates opened.

For me, not very.

I did lose my virginity by using Ross Jeffries NLP "patterns" swiped from the Lay Guide. But I also made a lot of embarrassing mistakes that torpedoed my reputation at college. I'd say my third year of doing game was the year when I took off, comparatively speaking.

My whole first year of nightgame (2011) I got 0 lays. This was not due to lack of attractiveness, as physically I was at my prime (young, lean, full head of hair, dress suits), but due to 1) lack of logistics and 2) anxiety/inhibition due to lack of sexual experience. I would cut nearly all my interactions short.
