Bypass surgery isn't losing weight it's just managing hunger.
They just make your stomach a lot smaller so whenever she eats she gets full faster.
This has nothing to do with nutrition and exercise, it's just a woman taking the easy way out once again.
There's a very good chance she didn't change her eating habits one bit. Whatever she was eating that got her there she probably still eating just in smaller quantities.

A fat woman at my work had the surgery done, somewhere in the range of $20k and insurance covered it, this was years ago so it might be cheaper now but anyways, the bitch is fat again. The little respect I used to have for her has dwindled to less than nothing. I can't help but look at her with utter disgust and contempt. If you're so fucking lazy and undisciplined you have to have your stomach stapled shut THEN you get fat again, you're a pathetic example of life.

Yeah that gastric bypass is a super hack for losing weight quick. You can lose a whole person worth of weight within a year no problem. Essentially forcing your body into doing what your self control is failing at - not over eating. Granted its not the "diet, exercise, and determination" road that helps form good long-standing habit and it is possible to regain the weight, you do have to modify your eating and lifestyle after the surgery to get the full benefits.

She still isn't pretty and likely has some hardcore skin deformity but A+ for getting herself healthy and not go the lazy and cowardly "body acceptance" route.

My brother's mother-in-law (step mother so no gene sharing with his wife) had the lap band. She lost 30 pounds pretty quickly, then realized she could "eat around it" by sipping on milkshakes all day.

In the end, people are more motivated to find creative ways to eat than to find ways to exercise. After the surgery it became a game to trick the system rather than take her health seriously.

At what point is elasticity lost? What does the skin surgery (I'm assuming) look like afterwards?
Was it botched around the neck so she needs to do that grimace (after pick, not before).

The best surgeons can work wonders and hide the scars but you still have some stretch marks.

Can't really tell with clothes on, but it looks like she got major skin surgery. That's why I want to see bikini pics, see if there are surgical scars or weird stretch marks, cause jam don't shake like that.

I'm happy. That's one less fat person that can sit next to you on the subway, the bus, or in seat B or D on the airplane. I want all fatties to be encouraged to follow her example. If they can't afford bypass surgeries, they should sell their cars to fund it and start walking to work. If they still can't afford it, they should then starve themselves until they're thin.
