A little after 7 am this morning, I get to the bus stop and see a girl reading a book. (First time I've done an approach so early in the goddamn morning.)

"Excuse me, you seem really focused. Is that a good book?"

She says she only just started. The back cover had a picture of the author (Tom Wolfe) without the book title, which reminded me of a book he wrote about Ken Kesey which I hadn't read. So I start rambling about that. She says she picked up this book because it sounded interesting.

Then, I saw the front cover of the book and the book's title, "Hooking Up."

Cue witty replies.

. . . Coincidentally, I actually have that book too. Came across it at an English bookshop in Paris. :o
