I just lost my dad last week. He had been sick for awhile with COPD and mom and I kind of knew it was close, but you are never really prepared.

You know what I didn't realize? Death is a business, I can't believe all the things we had to do just to have a memorial and cremate him. Lot's of peoples hands out for stuff.

Anyway, I didn't post to be a Debbie downer, just wanted to share since it seems to help with the grief.

To any of you guys who have lost parents or any loved one, my sincere condolences and respect for what you went through.

I lost my mom when I was 15. Its tough but youll persevere. It was a real wake up call for me.

My condolences to you. I lost my grandfather last year, and that was hard enough. I can't imagine losing a parent.

Not sure how old you are but I was 24 when I lost my dad. For me at least, there were enough memories to last a lifetime - many I didn't even think of till much later on when a relative or friend of his reminded me. Those moments helped quite a bit. Sorry for your loss, and good luck.
