This is the flagship essay to get into Stanford MBA. The directions are:

-Focus on the “why” rather than the “what.”
-Do some deep self-examination, so you can genuinely illustrate who you are and how you came to be the person you are.
-Share the insights, experiences, and lessons that shaped your perspectives, rather than focusing merely on what you’ve done or accomplished.
-Write from the heart, and illustrate how a person, situation, or event has influenced you.

I do not expect you guys to write an essay but I think is interesting to do some introspection and recognise what is the most important for each of us.

For me, I think that is freedom, basically freedom to do whatever I want. For you?

I wonder if Stanford would accept me if I wrote down "money and pussy". They probably get a barrage of near-identical, completely inauthentic essays every year and this would be a nice change of pace for 'em.

Then again, these sorts of ideas is probably what kept me out of the really good schools in the first place.

For me it is about control.

My former boss said that people in the business world (but I notice that also in everyday life) are motivated by 3 things - power (the will to dominate oneself and others), money (having resources) and prestige (eg. attention whoring).

I like the rush and the ability to do as I please. It's a primal sensation.

^ its no disease, its you biological imperative. Do you feel this way if the girls are of high quality? I know I feel like crap if i get pissed and fuck a chick thats not up to par. Its also nice to keep something going with a quality girl, someone pleasant, hot and skinny. I personally find this can be very rewarding, be sure to keep the limp dick fantasies of long walks on the beach and cheese and crackers by a roaring log fire to a minimum. Enjoy something a little more than a quick pump and dump but don't go getting pussy whipped, and enjoy the good times.
