We all are aware of how the game has been changed in recent years with the advent of social media technology, validation pads, and international thirst. However I've noticed something in the last couple years that doesn't seem to be explained by the above phenomenon.


Lets say back in '06, if a girl aggressively approached me, or insisted that I take her number and was very obviously flirtatious, I would close the bang at least 80 percent of the time. Hell, I'd even go as far as to say that back then, if a girl even gave me her number, there was a more than decent chance I would at least get a response from her and a date was probably at least a 50/50 shot.



However I've noticed a trend lately (last 5 years or so) that specifically when a chick shows unusually strong interest, insists on taking my number, ect, in an aggressive way, I've been getting blown off about 80 percent of the time. Most of the bangs I've gotten in the recent past have come from chicks who seem a bit more coy at first, then later warm up. But I find it strange that the more aggressive a girl seems to be up front, the less likely things will go anywhere. And I'm not just saying I'll fuck up the bang, I mean they don't even reply to a text. Are they just out there practicing their own form of game or what?


From what I recall, several years ago, girls sometimes would not give out their number if they were not interested. Or they would at least tell you as much. But these days it seems that they can't be uncomfortable for even two seconds and would rather give you their number so they can both validate themselves when you text them and ignore you once they've gotten that sweet, sweet validation nectar.


Does anyone else have a similar experience with aggressively "interested" women?

I haven't noticed this very much but I've never been the type to go around opening sets and collecting phone numbers. I usually meet someone on the street and immediately ask them take a walk with me and get a coffee or if I meet them at a bar on the weekend I ask if we can go back to their place and have wine. I call it, adjusting to the ADHD culture.

The truth is that women have more options now and none of us are as special as we once were. Culture has changed but the PUA community has stayed the same, which is why they never get ass. We have to adapt, be more aggressive, and more intuitive.

LINUX is right. Their attention-span is shorter and your speed is off. In Japan the players use the slang term "sokuru", made from turning the word "immediate" into a verb, and it means "meet and fuck immediately". I'm guessing you live in a large city. You could probably dial back a bit to the old way if you went to a smaller city, depending on what you want.

Nope, hasn't been my experience.

If she's going after me even lightheartedly, I know what to do.

That's not bragging, that's game.

That's taking this shit seriously, not putting on your "going out" shirt and chasing down 19 year olds. Or swiping right and praying for good results, sending Hail Mary texts, and putting your eggs in one basket.

Rewind back to 2001, if a chick was trying to get at me, and I didn't take her attempts seriously, and just took the #, or didn't follow up immediately - I typically lost the lay, or had to rebuild from the beginning.

It's like record shopping, if you come across some dope shit - BUY IT. Cause when you come back, it will be gone.

And if you're trying to come off like some modern hot to trot caveman - if you get her buying temperature up and only take her # - her temp will go down, and you will be forgotten.

She knows who you are, but she doesn't feel the same way about you. She's no longer in the moment.

That's what game is. Creating that moment. But that moment dissipates unless you can get her to invest.

Real rap, it might be easier to go for a heat of the moment quickie behind the dumpster, than to get her to invest in you emotionally.

The only time you can really play it slow is if you see the chick A LOT, i.e. work/school/dorm/neighborhood. And even then, you have to constantly flirt and shoot the shit, every time.

But you meet a chick that's down and she has to go, you'd better hope she likes you as a person, not sees you as a fuck opportunity. You gotta have some real depth to who you are that you can convey in moments. Chance encounter on an airplane, make an intense impression, exchange #'s, and run your long text game. Y'all don't really talk about that, so I won't broach that subject neither.

If you run up on a chick that's down, and you can't close her ASAP, consider her gone. Send her some texts or whatever, but don't expect anything.

We live in flake central. It's just becoming the norm I think for women to be interested in the moment and then get distracted by someone else just as interesting and forget all about why they wanted you in the first place.

Yes I have noticed this, I only really know of a couple of work arounds: approach more, and go for more instadates and same day lays.

If a girl is a flake, then there's very little you can do.
It's almost a service, if they can't be an adult and set a time to meet with you
then you're better off with someone who has something to contribute.

It's easy to get upset at first, until you realize she has way worse problems than you do.

Keep meeting women and let them sort out the good from the bad for you.

I don't experience this. Actually, this past year has been the best for me in terms of pussy.

You have to leave a very big first impression these days on Western girls. You have to present her with 'the prince' while at the same time leaving a bit of mystery. No matter what feminists and leftists say, women want to be swept off their feet in real life by an alpha male.

My pickup style these days is to be very direct, a little bit like LINUX said, and it always works. Most young girls are surrounded by 'beta' men with no balls who only know how to approach via the internet, so if you have Game and are an 'alpha' male, this shouldn't be a problem for you.

I am located in Orange County so I'm inclined to think it's a SoCal thing. These bitches are so fucking narcissistic it's insane. I agree with what WIA said though. I'm not saying that my goal is to get the # and not go for the lay, but sometimes the logistics aren't all in place to go for the bang right then and there, which as I'm writing this I'm realizing that's a big problem of mine.


I'm currently reading Roosh's Poossy Paradise. In it, he describes how when he left the Romanian capital and headed for a more run down city, at first he wanted to leave, and was questioning why he left a city in which he had a good set up, ie, a date bar, cafe close by, ect. He had clearly thought all the logistics through to a T and had a very systematic approach to getting his SNL's. I guess a big problem with my game at the moment is a lack of good logistical planning; most of the time I just wing it and hope things work out, I don't have planned out spots to take these broads too, or anything organized like that. I just go out, hope to meet a chick who's DTF, run game, and close whenever or wherever possible. I guess it's time to revisit that.

Ok OP I will break this down for you as an ex Orange County resident.

Orange County girls are probably and I am not joking the most vapid girls, who are often great at faking a polite attitude I think there are in the United States. Whatever down to earth is they are the opposite. They respond to pretty extreme asshole clown game. I honestly think the only place where girls want stronger high energy asshole clown game is in the MTV Jersey Shore type scene.

I'd say the rankings of flakiness of girls in SoCal would be:

1) OC
2) LA
3) SD
4) SB
5) IE
6) The Valley

All are pretty high compared to the national rate if not the highest. The length of commute, highways, traffic, and most importantly lots and lots of decent to strong male competition.

Surprised to see valley girls at the bottom of that list...but I did date a girl who was super loaded and lived in Encino...But this was back in 05-06.


I agree that OC chicks are incredibly vapid and do respond more to clown / asshole game more than chicks from other areas. In order to pull an SNL I usually have to channel the inner clown and not have any self consciousnesses floating around my head which can be difficult to do. There is certainly a lot of male competition as well. I'm a skinny guy so that's worked against me more times than I can count. Also the ratios here have seemingly been getting worse. If I end up at a bar with a 50/50 ratio that's the best you can usually hope for, and even that doesn't happen often. Most of the time i'd put the ratio at 70/30 and that goes for most cities with exception possibly being Costa Mesa.

I cant even remember the last time I swooped a non-fob or non-student LA girl. Seriously.

FOB asian girls have a different standard of attraction and I seem to fit the bill perfectly.

Student girls are still somewhat new to the game, so the LA life hasn't really hit them.

Hell even LA girls like me, but f-ck me if they don't neg me when I come up. Hand in the face or talking super load and gossipy or dancing around and posing for pics w/their "friends".

I really have to near insult the girl for me to even get ANY traction. Its kind of obscene and hurts my positive vibe.

A friend of mine, who did well for himself when he was in the game, used to say "These bitches are dying to shut you down". It was bit of a pessimistic attitude but there was truth to it. His comment was contextualized to a nightclub setting but the fact of the matter is, in today's social media, hard ego-validation culture , women straight up get off on getting approached and validated. That is their end goal, especially in L.A. And surrounding cities, since you need next level fame/baller game to compete.

To short circuit that scenario, as DVF said, you have to approach with a haughty unatural aura of disgust and/or condescension and aggressively escalate. Any pleasantries or treating them like human beings will get rewarded with rude shutdowns as they will be perceived as a sign of weakness. Don't fret though, after enough rude shutdowns you will naturally develop an air of disgust for these hoes.

To get back to the point, you have to counter validation and lack of response by maximizing the first interaction and acting like that is the only time you'll ever see her. When you interact, you have to emote a serious abundant,take it or leave it attitude but escalate hard at the same time. Do not respect or expect common decency from Western women.

If you don't know what that looks like, the character of Christian Troy in Nip/Tuck (early seasons) is a good example.

On numerous occasions, girls have aggressively made moves on me in clubs and even got to the point where we're kissing and pretty much dry fucking on the dance floor only for them to give the cold shoulder when I text them or shoot them a message on Facebook a couple of days later. My experience has been that girls that show unusually strong interest are usually unstable girls who are ruled by their ever fluctuating emotions.

It only follows that they will quickly reconsider how they feel about you.
