Winnipeg!

So I arrived in Winnipeg Canada for a 36 hour trip lasting from Friday night to Sunday morning. What I found was very interesting. Unfortunately my Friday night was ruined because a Canadian customs agent chose to abuse his authority. I arrived at 11:00PM and this officer couldn't understand that i was coming to visit Winnipeg, to game/bang Canadian chicks.(I didn't really say that)

However, he commenced to go through my cellphone, computer and take apart my luggage and held me for 2 hours. It got to the point that, other officers had to step in and said, that it was enough. He was called away,
So pretty much the city was closed down once i mad it to my spot. I went to one spot and the girls were very aggressive in grabbing and trying to dance with me. ki had maybe 20 mins of open time club time. But at that point was annoyed and was having a hard time shaking the fact that i felt very violated when i came the customs not even an hour before.

Now, the next day I found the city to not be very aesthetically pleasing as well as the day gaming scene to be very boring. People are nice but honestly kinda lame. Unlike Edmonton and Calgary where I found people more interesting. Also the streets are kind deserted. Night game.... I hit up two venues. The first venue was whiskey Dix. I pulled a strong 8 within 5 mins of arriving. She was in a large group. This is the difference in American verses Canadian.... Her bachellorete friend came over, i was sure she would come block. but instead She was talking in her ear, and rubbing my leg. Then she gave her the head nod to leave.
We made out for about 15min, then catch a cab. This where i fucked up. I should have been returning to base, not venue changing. Well, she is from there so the next venue there were people who knew her. Things started to fall apart from there. Well, I literally was approached and given numbers by 3 girls in about 30 mins. So I decided I was satisfied with my experience. I wanted to see how women would receive me, and it was epic. Unfortunately, i had to be at the airport at 5AM. So i decided to go pack and take a 3 hour nap. PM Me if you want to see the quality of what i was getting. I have a couple videos and such.

i will be going back to spend a little more time to solidify somethings about this place.

That's too bad about the customs officer. I've been through Canadian customs several times and they've never given me problems. The only time I was ever held up was on my first trip up there at the Thousand Islands land crossing (upstate NY about 1.5 hours north of Syracuse), but I was with three other guys and they only had us wait inside the customs building for 15 minutes to run our passports.

My job sends me to Canada almost weekly. That's why this was such bullshit! I've never had problems anywhere in the world.

I've actually had the same experience crossing into Windsor, Ontario. The last three times I've crossed with friends(all brothas with no records), customs has proceeded to grill us with ridiculous questions and thoroughly ransack our whip and belongings, with no rhyme or reason. What's funny is how incredulous they act when you tell them that you are only going to visit bars, but that just means that you gotta account for their erratic on your subsequent trips.

Your datasheet of Winnipeg is more or less spot on. Same old Winnipeg. Boring, cold, ugly as sin, deserted cityscape, and somewhat friendly but boring ass people. Winnipeg is a city that I'll happily skip. There's nothing in Winnipeg you can't get in a midwestern US city.

As for customs, sounds very typical. I've seen brothers with US passports held arbitrarily for hours and hours on end in some border crossings (Windsor), and Sault Ste Marie come to mind. I've seen border guards disassemble the seats from a Honda Civic once at the Windsor crossing.

Good old-fashioned racism is at play here. The most often excuse for this harassment by the Canadian authorites is that brothas are associated with drugs and gangs.

I'm as white as can be. Me and 2 of my squeaky clean white friends have been stopped at customs as well, once for an hour and a half. It's a common thing for young guys, especially when crossing in a car at a land crossing. I've also been stopped at US customs ( I have no criminal record), by both white and black customs officers.

Don't make it an automatic racism issue.

As for the Peg hate.
In the winter yes it sucks like most Canadian cities. In the summer it's great. Its sunny everday and hovering around 25-30 degrees almost everyday from June till mid September. There's tons of festivals all summer long, and a good nightlife scene for most of the week. Tons of international student girls are all over the place and are friendly as hell. Not to mention the 20 beaches within a 20 minute to 1 hour drive away, which people flock to and are filled with women.

Yeah its no Toronto, but the people are also not smug assholes and the women aren't stuck up bitches.

That sucks elabayarde - I imagine he saw a really well sorted guy and just decided to fuck with you because he was jealous.

But props for recovering and pushing through anyway - even though you slipped up a bit, I'm sure if you hadn't had the messing around you'd have hit that 100%.

It's a good post, because thats the attitude you need to pull girls reliably, good or bad mood, rain or shine - never give up man...hopefully you won't have to deal with that shit again.

I wonder if they do the same for Black Canadians. Sadly Black Americans (and Americans in general) have a stigma in many foreign countries.

I won't turn it into a race thing. I really don't have any proof of that specifically. I'm not the type to go jumping to those conclusions. But it was definitely personal. The other agents said I was done several times and this guy leaves his post to fuck with me. Maybe some black dude who looks like me stole his chick in high school... Idk.

Buts it's importsnt to not let your insecurities get the best of you... Many brothas on here seem to have insecurities about being black. So we tend to project our experiences, on other situations.

The immigration/customs agents in Europe, as well as Australia & N. Zealand would never put any American brotha through that. Never.

Canadian customs can be hit or miss, mostly miss. Sadly, when I travel out of Toronto I don't see too many brothas travelling, unless it is home to Jamaica etc.
I cannot say all of Europe has good custom agents, last year in Sweden they were skeptical to let us in because we didn't book tickets to leave. That was travelling on a Canadian passport btw.

Really!!?? I'm an Afr-Am with a US passport. Never had any problems anywhere in Europe (or Australia & N. Zealand).

Canadian customs is by far the worst, i am not even sure what system they use to decide who to stop and search. Everytime i cross the border i just assume they will go through my shit.

When I flew into Montreal was a little nervous as I have a record, fight in highschool, but agent was cool. Told me to work on my french to have the best fun (assuming he meant pick up chicks) stamped me on my way.

But funny thing I was leaving ferry in Helsinki and got stopped by this dike customs agent. I think it was more out of curiosity, because there was a shit ton of other blacks (african immigrants), but only I was stopped. Once i pulled out my US passport, she like barely looked at it and left.

Whats the average quality of girls at Whisky Dik and how attractive was those 3 girls who gave you the number? How is the quality in Winnipeg and in Edmonten on average Elabayarde?

And how are those two places in comparison to the midwest cities like say Minnesota?

Well I would say the raw quality, in Canada is higher. But the girls don't dress up as well as american girls in minneapolis on a fri/sat night.. Mostly because the guys don't either. For example in Winnipeg it is very normal to see a guy In shorts and a Tee shirt, walking into a bar with a girl in heels and a skirt. That doesnt happend down here.


Also, there were a decent number of IRT's and Asians in one on one couples with white chicks incase anyone is interested.

I can agree canadian customs usually sucks. I just visited in July and was surprised the agents were cool on both sides of the border. Hasn't made a difference for me flying or driving they are typically assholes. Never experienced problems in Latinam, Asia or Europe.

I've noticed in the last two years American customs seems to have gotten a much better attitude adjustment. Or maybe as I age I seem less suspicious. When I was in my early 20s it was practically a guarantee they would start some shit whenever I had to deal with them.

Average varied as its north America. Much less fatties than Merica. Much better attitudes also. No comparison. But I just finished banging anothe Canadian so I'm liking this.
