Everyday I come to this thread, there's just a bunch of negativity, so rarely do we find that one bright shining example that we as a species can do good. This is one of those examples.

Just the story of the little boy overcoming persevering through life that's been dealt to him already gives me the feels. I'm sure the technical aspects of this surgery must be insanely complex, but it's truly inspiring to see the extent of what ideas the human mind can come up with and what our advance development in motor functions can allow us to do physically on such a small and complex scale.

Truly, all the doctors involved in this endeavor are heroes for giving this young boy a new lease on life, and I'm sure with the boy's positive outlook even when he was handicapped, he will do great things now that he is more complete.

Thats awesome. I can't imagine living without hands, it's the last thing I would want damaged or destroyed.
