Gentlemen, I did something beautiful today.
I debated a bunch of furious, frothing feminists on facebook. And won.
Now, "winning" an online debate, especially against feminists, is a rather relative, abstract concept. On the one hand - we have all heard the "it's like winning at the special Olympics". I get that. On the other hand, they are probably sitting in their apartments thinking the exact same thing. I get that too.
But what else can you call it when I remain polite, non-confrontational, refuse to take any bait, counter any attempts at derailment, lead the conversation to exactly where I want to go, and never resort to name calling, while my opponents keep incriminating themselves, resorting to personal attacks, make violent threats, and, time after time after time again - just make themselves, and more importantly, their message, look bad, in front of an audience of over a thousand people?
I can't call that anything else but a win.
The story begins earlier today, at around 11 am my time. I check facebook and see that a very stereotypical "feminist" - problem glasses, problem hair, covered in tattoos, plays roller derby - decided to post the Buzfeed article on Roosh, using the usual attacks (rape legalization advocate, privilege, something something). Usually my facebook is a relatively calm place where even the liberals are reasonable. So i stepped in, did the obvious Jonathan Swift comparison, and thought I'd call it a day.
I come back shortly to more comments, with my Jonathan Swift comment completely ignored. I then made a short comment about free speech, and as we all know, "freeze peach" really triggers the offendatrons hard.
And then it was on, the shit they were saying was both simultaneously gold and crap, so I pressed harder.
Here's a sample of what i got them to say I got them to say.
- Numerous and creative ways of saying "I hope roosh dies and/or gets raped"
- "The fact you disagree with me and modern feminism is exactly why we need feminism"
- "Feminism is an uphill struggle", to which I said that feminists have the full support of government, corporate america and especially the educational system, which lead to:
- "I refuse to look at this position from another perspective"
- 2 separate girls said that "every day i fear that I'm gonna get raped, I LIVE WITH THIS EVERY DAY"
- Certain opinions should be illegal
- Freedom of speech is about governments (ignoring the fact that the Roosh story had everything to do with government)
- "your blind worship of freedom of speech is disgusting" - direct quote
- "Only a WOMAN can talk about the experience of being a WOMAN, your opinion is not welcome here"... which was said when discussing a mens conference on mens issues.
- Mens issues dont exist
- I bet you never get laid
- I bet your cock is tiny
- my spelling and grammar were attacked
Why am I sharing this story? Because with everything that's been going on, and especially with the "Battle of Montreal", Roosh has inspired me. He showed me that if you stay true to yourself, stay calm and with a little bit of time - these Social Justice Warriors destroy themselves.
Usually, I would let it go, I've let shit go in the past.
But no more.
And I challenge you to do the same. Don't let it go. Fight. And above all - Fight Clean.
The time for staying in the shadows is over. Gamergate was the first big battle the SJWs lost. The Battle of Montreal was the latest.
But now its to just the time for big battles - its the time for little ones, its time for partisan warfare to defeat our opponents.
My internet argument didn't have the reach that battle of Montreal did, not even close. At best, it reached a little over a thousand people (the amount of facebook friends she has). But I know two things - because of the very high amount of comments - that thread will be on the front of most of those thousand people for the next day or two (thank you new facebook newsfeed formula), and maybe, just maybe, with the combined strength of Roosh's ideas and my refusal to back down, we will lure more people to our cause. I know this, because
in the end, this story isn't about me.
It's about a cuck. What else would you call a guy that prefixes everything he says with "I'm not sexist" or "I'm not racist"? The guy looked like he had less testosterone than Bruce Jenner's hopes and dreams. But after a few hours of me putting feminists into intellectual checkmates, this guy saw it was safe to step in and express himself. He actually stood up for himself and for free speech, and even got em to do a little hamster dance about simultaneously hating the patriarchy, but unequivocally supporting Islam, and we all know how Islam feels about women and gays. It was beautiful
The one downside to this story is that because because I am a staunch supporter of internet privacy and the right to privacy in general, I wont be sharing photographic evidence (a man's gotta have a code). But I hope that I have enough of a reputation on this forum for folks to believe me.
So there you have it folks.
Every Battle counts. Fight Hard. Fight Clean. Fight with Stamina - your opponent will always beat themselves.
And thanks again Roosh for the inspiration. You're my hero.
