In one final blow, Couderc added that he now “refuses to give free dresses to celebrities if they are judged to lack sufficient class.”

Fucking triple threat. Age, obesity, and lesbians. Obvious and clear trigger points for SJWs.

One of three options:

(1) Master troll on the SJW crowd. He will sell more of these dresses, by way of qualifying the dress to consumers who do not fit in the above categories.
(2) Old guy who let slip with too much truth, as they do sometimes.
(3) Red Pill still alive and well in fashion houses notwithstanding the high proportion of buttfucking bros.

Good for him, I doubt it will harm his business.

I would guess his customers might be aware of SJW and feminist type thinking but don't necessarily want to get involved with it directly. High end fashion is not for the masses, nor is it affordable for them. He'll get called misogynistic, old fashioned, etc. All the usual invective, and it will blow over and he will be added to the list of people, such as Karl Lagerfeld and other fashion types who have said it how it is.

This is just a piece of media 'fuel', and it will eventually be forgotten.

The comments sections make for interesting reading. The top comment is the expected snarky "Ooo, sales drop on the way", but the second-highest-rated comment is that he's just being honest.

That said, our boy (who at least gives the appearance of being heterosexual), has some nice, nostalgic comments to offer on women going out:
