Not sure it's been covered in this thread, but regardless of the targeted country its imperative that you live there.

Meeting a life partner is like getting struck by lightning. Anything can happen on a short trip to a country, but its unlikely.

Ideally you are in a place you enjoy living in for other reasons than the women. In that situation you are no worse should you not meet that unicorn.

It's a good place to have fun on a short trip, but I wouldn't recommend it for wife hunting.

I've spent some time living there, and I'd say the girls are slutty, not the most loyal, and they don't seem to age well. It's a religious country but I've only met a few virgins there, and they weren't virgins by choice.

Another factor for wife hunting is that you may need to live in the country for at least a short-term period. After a few months in the DR you will probably be itching to leave. It's very much a third-world country and after a while it starts to wear on you.


A better country would be Peru. The girls are more feminine and more loyal. Also Lima is much more livable than Santo Domingo. The issue is that the girls there don't value their virginity either, so it could be tough to meet a virgin.

I'd be curious to know if anyone had success recently in Latin America.

To me, having my kids turn out looking like me is very important, and hence Vietnam (and the rest of Asia) is unfortunately out for me as an option.

Personally I am debating between Russia or somewhere in Latin America. Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Bolivia. Interested to hear some more opinions on these countries as well. Multiple people in this thread have praised Mexican women and bashed Colombians. I haven't read that much about the others though.

This was important to me as well. I dated a few black women and seriously wanted to marry one, but this is something always in the back of my mind. I mean in the US we have this silly one drop rule about mulattos, but it's stuck in my brain and I can't root it out. Also, I know a lot of half black kids and the outcomes vary widely. I think 60 to 70% of them are ugly as hell.

This is just a personal opinion, but half asian kids are virtually all good looking. My daughter is in fact so good looking that I get harassed on the street about it, and my photographer friend has sent her photos to modeling agencies that now want to represent her. She kind of looks like me, and kind of doesn't. I have blue eyes, she has hazel green eyes. I'm dark brown haired, while the rest of my family is blond or red... my daughter is blond. She has my headshape, and many of my facial features, but still retains somewhat of a asian look.

My only serious worry about marrying a woman from Vietnam is that my son will be short. However, I will cross that bridge when it comes. It's virtually impossible to tell how tall her family is because everyone born prior to 1992 grew up in famine and never hit their potential. Her cousins born after 92, range in height from 5'8" to 6'3" with most being under 5'10".

Just know that whereever you choose a wife... the kids may or may not look like you... it's a genetic toss of the dice.

Half asian kids with blond hair is nothing new. Most of the time it darkens to a mousy brown by age 9 or 10. Red hair is very rare.

My daughter has blond hair right now. Every child born in my family is born blond and eventually becomes dark. So, her blond hair was not a surprise to me. This is a genetic trait from my Scottish heritage, and my daughters hair will become dark as she gets older. Her hazel/green eyes will not change though.





I'd say if you are a blond guy and marry an asian woman, your children will tend to have hair color similar to this girl:

The last 5 years of my life have been dedicated to this topic. This included living in Russia for a year and meeting “the one,” only to have her reject coming to the USA. 20 YO Law Student 8.5 Banged me every third night for a year.

Her life would have improved materially and distanced her from her family should she marry me in the USA. She is a family girl and although she genuinely liked me, she could not imagine her life without her family.

Met a girl in the Phils... beauty pagent winner, no white social media contacts, took virginity, tons of no profit work, great girl! Still banged me each night we met and said no to coming to the USA. We talked online for over a year before meeting. Every night together in person was amazing and fun! I told her that I wanted her to visit me and that I was serious. I was. She was the top of her class in the spinner contest.

So at this point I’m done. I gave it a good 4 year effort at great financial cost to seek a foreign bride. I learned a lot in the process but am giving up on Wife Hunting. Good family girls will not leave their country. You will need to live in theirs. I will continue to travel, but no longer look for a wife. I do have a son who looks just like me, so I am also finding some peace in the fact I have a boy and will not miss out on this part of life.

You love the US that much? I sometimes wonder how long this country has left. I work with millennial americans every day and while some are wonderful and brilliant, I doubt they can compensate for the hordes of indulgent wastrel idiots. Someday soon they will be the most powerful voting block in the US... and they neither understand nor like business.

I'd move to Russia if given the chance. Or for a solid girl I'd promise sponsor her parents and move them to the USA if they so choose. Could live in Wisconsin or something until the place starts to turn to shit.

@WashedUPVet I saw on the Phils thread that you have only met this girl for 5 or 6 days. I think that's a bit soon to realistically expect anyone to drop everything and relocate across the world with you and a bit premature to write her (and consequently every woman in the world?) off as a prospect for doing that!

I expect to have to live abroad to keep a good girl and get accustomed to the culture. Does anyone have experience with Mormons in Salt Lake City? Would love to hear some thoughts as I've had good reception from Mormon women. Very mild mannered usually and chilled out.

You can filter that out by finding someone you leads an active lifestyle. Most chicks running and doing pilates daily dont just stop out of nowhere.

I can speak an EE language near fluently and doubt I'd go through the hassle of looking for a relationship in EE. You never know what you are really getting and how she would adopt to american culture. If you find a girl here at least you know her attitudes towards it all.

This would be by far the top thing I'd consider in terms of American prospects. I would like to find out myself. I have no first hand knowledge on this subject, I've just heard they're usually tight knit, live in the mountains, and don't really drink (at least in front of the family). Plus the ones really into it do morning bible readings apparently. But, I've wanted to see the western US anyway, so this may be a project of mine in the upcoming years if I could find the hidden gem and be able to keep my family in my life (they'd never move out of America and I'm close with them).

Agreed. Good women will not want to leave their country, family, and everything they know behind. Or at least they'd be a lot less eager to. I do think we as men are going to have to start thinking like our ancestors in terms of moving to countries to find a better life. If we want this bad enough, we have to make it happen and put our potential wife in the best possible scenario for success (her own culture with positive traditionalism reinforcement). Our ancestors went from a world empire in England to go on a boat into the 1600's to America, a land that nobody really knew much about. They turned it into an empire of their own. Our ancestors came off of boats from Ireland and Italy with maybe a couple of bucks in their pocket. They're now multi-generational in America.

The point I'm getting at is that great men have made great personal sacrifices in the past to leave everything they know for a better life for them and their family. We need to do this too if we want a wife without putting ourselves in the oven. Hell, maybe some of you don't and that's fine too. I'm not necessarily ready for a wife now, but as a younger guy, I get the feeling I'm going to want to have good company around in my later years when I inevitably want to slow down. I do believe this is good for society at the right time with the right partner, the West just flipped the whole thing upside down.

The girl I've been most serious outside of America with didn't seem overly interested in coming to America. I did like her and spent a bit of time with her, but I broke it off because I knew I couldn't get back to her part of the world anytime soon and I thought I was too young to give her what she wanted (marriage and children). But, we were both young, early 20's, and from what she was telling me, her priority was settling down with a good stable guy, not really looking for a passport or ever asking me for money. I think she would've been happy with just me moving to her country.

For the future, I'm leaning more and more towards foreign girls as potential girlfriends/wives. The dilemna I really have is that I know one day I'm going to have to make a choice between building my own future with a potential life and family abroad, or keeping the family I already have in America. I'm not optimistic I could do both, so when that day comes, it'll be one of the most difficult decisions I will have to make in my life mainly because I grew up pretty close to my family and no one really moves away...

I went through the exact scenario. She would have been happy to marry me in her country, but moving to America, she wasn't against it, she just wasn't particularly for it either. It was just eh. I ended up breaking up with her once I decided I needed to focus on my own things back in the states.
