Well let's look on the bright side. She was a dermatologist, and you need to be pretty damn smart in the USA to become one of those, first to get into medical school and then to out-compete your classmates for the lucrative derm residency. She's also got good aesthetics. So really good genes overall, and she already passed them down by having 3 kids. So we shouldn't be took harsh on her.

I think it's pretty fair to be harsh on 38-year-old mother of 3 children...and wife...and doctor...who overdosed on cocaine.

This isn't Shauntice from the ghetto or Carly Rae from the trailer park. This is someone who knew the consequences of her actions--on her children, husband and patients--and still chose to ride the cock n' drugs coaster for long enough to think the rules didn't apply to her anymore.

Now her kids get to grow up without a mom (which could be a blessing, in this case), her husband is heartbroken, and her legacy will forever be known as "that hot doctor who OD'd on cocaine," instead of the the faithful wife and dedicated mother who still made time for her family despite working as a doctor.
