From the "is this real, or am I reading The Onion" department... a trans activist announces that her "boyfriend" is pregnant. From the article:

'She says their pregnancy is helping to shatter “patriarchal norms” and move the chains in a society where “transsexuality is viewed as the strangest type of diversity in the LGBT” community.'

It's on point with Roosh's article "Why Homosexual Marriage Matters For Straight Men", and the contention that "straight behavior will be more aggressively modified through social shaming and re-education in schools, where young boys will be enthusiastically taught the superiority of homosexual lifestyles and the shameful privilege of heterosexuals, especially concerning the types of relationships that lead to nuclear, stable families."

I generally don't care what people do behind closed doors. However, there is a concerted effort in the media to try and destroy any notion of gender and masculinity.

In summary, what follows is an argument from variation: that because unfortunate dipshits get born with penises as well as vaginas, and that some women have uteruses but are infertile, that therefore biological sex -- male and female -- is a gender construct. She tries to slide around the problem of inability to reproduce by sniffing and saying "I shouldn't even have to explain this" and pointing out that there are men and women who can't reproduce.

Why the argument from variety? Well, we get what is a fascinating and hilarious argument a few minutes in. She makes a passing comment: "Why do we have all these different types of genitalia that nature has designed..." And later on: "Nature designs us in such a way as to make it not possible to fit into a binary".

In other words, this is an argument for intelligent design -- but by Gaia or Mother Nature rather than God. It's an argument that because you get infertile men and women, or because there's variation in testosterone and/or estrogen levels in people, it must be intended on nature's part that this is so, and therefore that biological sex is a gender construct.

I shouldn't have to point out the flaws with intelligent design, but this is an inversion of it: it suggests that "variety in chromosomes = intended variety of biological sexes in the species!"

The problem being that variety, of itself, does not demonstrate intent or viability. It merely demonstrates Darwin and survival of the fittest. DNA patterns not replicated through reproduction will die off, and the strongest patterns will remain. Insofar as humans have an effect on this process, we have messed with it because of the West's technological success: the fittest and strongest organisms are now not the only ones to survive, and not infrequently they reproduce as well.

Every day, the SJW movement looks and sounds more and more like the Puritanical movement, just substituting different totems.

Which do you think is worse?

• A tranny couple raising a child
  

I would think the latter.

At first I wanted to say that at least a tranny couple might have some balance of masculine and feminine input, but in reality they are parodies of femininity and masculinity. Their kids will inevitably be fucked up.

At least there might be some gay male couples who could instill understanding of masculinity in their sons, and they might have some fighting chance..... but that's extreme wishful thinking.

I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to have been raised by lesbians however.

At least one of them (the couple) is a guy that 'transed' to a woman. But their marriage is described as like a civil union, so it sounds like we have two men here?
