I’ve been thinking a lot about a post on RooshV.com about what Roosh would teach his son. He mentions how he would avoid the conventional education curriculum. Instead, he’d teach subjects like woodworking, exploring nature and music. However, the most important of all the subjects to teach his son would be the scientific method—the process in which one gathers data, draws insights and shares discoveries.

With that in mind, I’m seeking to gather data on successful text conversations and text game, successful in the sense they result in a date (or a bang). To gather how guys operate from that first text until the date. Once there are 10 – 20 replies, I’ll begin to piece together insights and share. After the first reply, I’ll post one of my own.

Texting conversations:

• Pick one conversation.
• Post it in full. Begin with the first text up until the moment she meets you for the date.
• Use either screenshots or a written transcription. It’s fine if this occurs over multiple days.
• Don’t post a partial conversation.
• Briefly give context. Where did you meet her? What’d you talk about? How much interest did you perceive from her?
• It doesn’t have to be a first date. It can be setting up a second date so long as you give context for how the first date went.
  

The other goal is to create a thread for complete text conversations. I'm aware there are threads with shorter text exchanges scattered throughout this forum. While those are somewhat helpful, I think having a chance to see complete text exchanges will be more useful from which to learn and discover insights. I know it can be time consuming and may take 20 - 30 mins to write and redact a full text exchange. (If there’s private info and you prefer to PM or email me, I’ll keep it private and only include any general findings in the analysis.)

Great idea! I'll work on putting together a few conversations with different girls from opener to meet where it resulted in a bang. Looking forward to seeing the data and using it to improve my overall text game.

I'm unsure on this. I like the idea of the thread, but whenever I post text exchanges, I have *huge* chunks of missing data / communication that happens outside of text. This can be anywhere from face to face conversation, which is by far most common and most effective, to large spaces of silence where I have on multiple occasions had chics text me months later saying they wanted to hang out (presumably because no more boyfriend or fuck-buddy).

I'm not trying to kill a thread idea, just offering up the question...

Do you want us to fill in the huge chunks of information in between texts?

Co-Sign with Heavy, you can some super alpha mega texter, but how's your game in person ?

More details are needed such as a detailed date report, and bang report as well.

Also, you'll more than likely have censor names, pictures, locations, etc.

Very first text exchange with currently girl I'm dating, not sure if this is helpful. She's a solid 8.5.

Quick background - we met on OkCupid. I sent her like 4 messages and then was like "u seem cool, lets grab drinks this week at [bar]. whats ur cell #?" (I'd have to dig the actual exchange off OKC).

[we meet up, have drinks, and then bangs ensue. this has been going on since February].

Moral of the story, looking back on it.

1. Texting isn't what generates attraction, it's all the shit in between
2. You can only fuck shit up via text. I would have probably dialed it back even more in hindsight.
3. LTR game is different than initially getting the bang. My insanely laconic game probably would not have resulted in a bang.

Most importantly... text messaging is a reflection of how much she likes you. You don't generate attraction with text messages. You can fuck up attraction, though. Keep them short, simple, stupid, and non-dramatic.

Dropping bait about crossfit and she bit. Good sign.

I wonder what those first few messages looked like on OKC. Again, once she agreed to grab drinks, it's then a matter of logistics. But what I like that you still kept it conversational and interesting, telling her what you were doing at that moment, joking that it takes you "every bit of discipline to not eat a tater tot" instead of saying something boring like, "I'm at a dinner now. I can meet you at 9 pm". Good work dude.

At the end of your study, you'll come to conclusion that it doesn't really matter what you text.

At the end of the day, it all comes down to this:

"What is it about you, that will make her friends envious of her?"

Women don't do the things they do to impress men, they do the things they do to impress other women.

No one is going to be envious of her because she fucked a guy who could text well.

Totally reasonable critique, Heavy. My interest is keeping this thread focused on text examples from first contact to a meet.

My recommendation to post is to give us context, maybe a paragraph for how you met her and what her interest level was. This is so that men here can "put themselves in your shoes". It's a best practice I learned from WIA when it comes to sharing on this forum.

The convos in which she texts you a few months later may not be best to include. Perhaps you have one example to share in which you made an approach, got a number, had some text chat and went on date in a reasonable time afterwards.
