I didn't see a thread on this anywhere. It's been blowing up on my facebook feed so I had to share.

This is from the Australian News, and they've run an article that was also on Access Hollywood.

The Big Bang Theory star, 29, announced in September she was divorcing the professional tennis player after less than two years of marriage.

Her divorce documents revealed the couple had signed a prenuptial agreement, but on Monday, Ryan submitted his own papers requesting spousal support from his wife, according to ET Online.

While Cuoco has amassed a fortune of approximately $US45 million ($A62.05 million), Ryan, 28, has a net worth $US2 million.

Ryan’s paperwork also cites a different date of separation to the one his estranged spouse offered.

Cuoco noted September 3 as the date they split, while the sportsman listed September 25 as the day the couple decided to dissolve their marriage.

That’s the same day the separation was announced to the press.

“Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage,” Cuoco’s representative confirmed. “They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter.”

The former couple tied the knot on New Year’s Eve, 2013, following a whirlwind romance.

“I admit it happened fast, but that’s who I am. When we met, I knew he was the one,” Cuoco told Cosmopolitan in April 2014 of getting engaged so quickly.

“[At my wedding], I felt like a rock star and a badass. What was amazing in that room, it was so full of love. It was like nothing I’d ever been to before, and it was exactly what we wanted it to be. It was the eighth wonder of the world, the greatest wedding of all time.”

Predictably, lots of women (and some men) are collectively losing their shit over the application of equal treatment under the law, well thought-out and reasonable comments involving "no real man would demand spousal support, "he probably married her for the money", "what a dickless drug addict scumbag" and further complimenting the "precedent" set by "gentlemen" like Russel Brand, who didn't demand any money he was well entitled to after his divorce from Katy Perry.

She's worth like 45 M, I think the guy Ryan Sweeting is worth something like 2 M.

I'm not going to argue either way if the guy deserves it. Deserve's got nothing to do with it. I just hope he walks out with half.

I don't neccesarily agree with him asking for spousal support but I want him to succeed. The more men that get 'equal treatment' under the family court system, the faster the pendulum will swing and then come back to 'no one gets shit, you are an adult, take care of yourself'

That and the fact that Johnny Galecki got there first. When 5'5" Leonard from "Big Bang" becomes the Alpha by default because he tapped the girl when she was younger and (much) hotter, you know you've got problems on your hands.

Addendum: There are apparently rumors these two are dating. So the issue might be that she's Leonard's Alpha widow. If this proves to be true, it'll kind of undermine the whole point of the show.

We really do need some high-profile divorce rapes of women to shed light on how fucked up the system is; might be the only feasible way to usher in some much needed reform.

Similar to the university rape scandals, a lot of women didn't give a shit about false accusations until it was their precious middle-upper class boys getting expelled from college over made up bullshit. Hopefully, a few good divorce rapes of high-profile mainstream white women will get at least some people to take a step back and ask what the fuck is wrong with the system.

I'm dredging up this thread because it does, in fact, look like Kailey was Alpha Widowed by Johnny Galecki. Now she's apparently got him back -- they were seen getting intimate at an awards show together.

This seems to me to be a classic case of Alpha Widowing. When she married the "stud," she cut off all her hair and looked awful. Subconsciously she had to have wanted to send him a message or purposely wanted to ruin it for herself.

But if you look at her now back with Johnny, her hair is back and it looks like she's shed a few pounds too.

And while, yes, Galecki has more money than god, one thing we should know from all the "rich men who were played" threads on here is that money does not = game.

The below photo, IMO, says it all. Look at her now and look at their expressions.

I remember him from some of those teenage slasher summer films where he played the alpha boy/hunky hero role.

Actors are, stereotypically, not nerdy. Might be some of them are, but most are not too bright.

I caught up with an old mate before Christmas, who said things 'weren't going so good' with his long time girlfriend and he'd met a girl on the side he was really happy with, so said he was going to dump her soon.

A mutual friend sent me a Christmas Party pic today. His girlfriend had cut off her long hair and got a 'Dumpy Human Resources Worker' Pixie Cut that aged her 10 years. No, she didn't 'Pull It Off' at all.

No wonder he lost all sexual interest in her. On the upside, I bet she'd make Lesbians very wet.
