The PC crowd has developed flowcharts to teach you to think the way they want. The gist is that anything making fun of, shaming, trivializing or otherwise depicting any group they've deemed "protected" is wrong. Dressing up like Mattress Girl will cause a complete meltdown.

I'm guessing that any costume making fun of white males or outright insulting Christianity is perfectly acceptable.

Truly, this was inevitable - being Halloween is one of the only days of the year where people are allowed to have a sense of humor about things.

Me personally being in my thirties, Halloween is just another day.

Age 0-2: No idea what's going on.
Age 3-10: Halloween rules because it means free candy.
Age 11-14: Halloween kind of sucks - too old to trick or treat, too young to party, but there are houses to be egged and shitbags to be lit.
Age 15-25: Halloween rules again! Parties, bar crawls and sluts in costumes!
Age Beyond 25 - Halloween is just another day.

I was at a Halloween get together tonight and there was a girl who for her costume dressed up as a chola. She had the big hoop earrings, a fake tear tattoo under her eye, carried a fake rubber knife that she "shanked" me with and such.
