Often I find that my sense of humour is dry and I've come to realise that being funny will be my only way to get laid until I get my body and appearance in shape.

The problem is, I'm not a very funny guy and hardly make jokes and have very little stories to tell. Any one know any classes that cater to this?

Sorry if this all sounds very vague.

Have you tried watching Seinfeld ?

He's a great example of how you can turn something seemingly unimportant into something funny.

Or : you probably have a funny friend, someone who can make others around him in a good mood without trying too hard. Notice what he's doing, and the kind of material he uses for his jokes. I'm positive it's nothing groundbreaking, just simple remarks but delivered in a funny way.

Being in a relaxed state of mind also helps achieving that type of humour. I've found that jokes come much more easily to me when I'm not worrying about the type of image I want to give of myself.

Depending where you live maybe there is someone who teaches a local stand up comedy class.

Humor is often based on a lot of observations, so you have that part down. Now it is just taking those observations and making some humor.

Hang around people who are naturally funny, listen to what they say, their delivery, etc. Become a part of a comedy club.

People are funny for several reasons:

What they say
How they say it
Facial expressions
Life experiences

There are plenty other reasons but those are just a few to get you started.

An example, I was watching Grandma's Boy, incredibly underrated movie. Hilarious. Nick Swardson was describing having sex with an old chick.

Instead of him saying "This woman's pussy smelled awful," or any variation of awful or gross, he said "This woman's pussy smelled like the Great Depression."

Think of words or phrases to describe things that are so ridiculous that people will have to laugh.

Tie a bunch of small teddy bears around your waist. Wear them everywhere in public it doesn't matter. Act serious. Call anyone out that laughs or points.

Do this for a month.

You will become funny and have more stories to tell I guarantee it.

I'm funny now!!!

I'm not exactly sure how this happened!?!?

Actually, I do know it happened; 6 years ago, I was a 33 year old frustrated beta working an office job, I didn't have the confidence or skill set to get pretty, young girls. My personality was boring and dry. I was anti-social, I didn't enjoy interacting with average people.

My lack of success with women was related to my lack of joy for life --which was related to my lack of social skills -- which was related to my lack of a healthy sense of humor -- which was related to my boring life, etc., etc.

It's all connected.

In 2009, I decided to make a change. I decided that I would do whatever it takes to get young, pretty, girls.

I discovered "game" and joined this forum. I wanted to be funny and charismatic. I wanted to have "game", I wanted a more exciting life.

Humor, laughter, and comedy always made me feel more alive.

I started watching more comedy shows. I started working on my game, I started talking to people more. After a lot of hard work, I started finding more success with girls.

6 years later, something finally clicked..

I notice myself being spontaneously funny now!

I'm not even trying to be funny, it just happens on its own without me having to think about it.

I have finally developed enough confidence and social skill/awareness/comfort that I don't have to constantly be thinking in logical and rational terms, I am not stuck inside my head.

My sense of humor is totally instinctive and intuitive.

Fuck! This a beautiful thing!

I'm thinking about trying some stand up comedy! Game comedy, of course!

What a fucking journey this has been!

Do not focus a majority of your game on being funny. This will work against you in the future and girls will see you as a clown there to entertain them whenever they get bored.

Being funny does not get most girls wet and turned on sexually. It just makes girls laugh like when a baby does something silly.

Rather than being funny all the time you can practice being witty and having clever comebacks that will have her thinking you always know the right thing to say.

You can be funny with girls sometimes to lighten the mood but I don't use it all the time or else they would hear all your jokes.
