When I think of mentally ill I think of an actual retarded person lacking in the cognitive faculties necessary to understand reality.

That's not this girl.

This. I'm sure she will use this incident as a springboard to further her attention-seeking antics in front of a wider audience. I'm thinking a series of web interviews, maybe an appearance in a hip-hop video followed by her own porno eventually, before her 15 minutes are over. Right now she's probably revelling in all the attention her instagram is getting.

Situations like this make me thing that world should have handled Emma Sulkowicz's mattress stunt by simply ignoring her. Maybe if she realised no-one was paying her any attention she would have given up and done something productive. Then again, maybe she would have kept escalating her behaviour even further.
