If she says "he's cute" or something you can always ham it up and be like "I'd hit it" in a totally dead pan voice, or "you should go tell him that." He number one rule is to keep it playful I think. If you appear insecure you're already in the wrong headspace.

It seems to me that this girl doesn't respect you. She's seeing that she control your emotions and make you lose frame and trying to get you to question yourself on if you're good enough for her by pointing out all the competition you have. I say just ignore her and start hitting up other girls as your current girl sounds like trouble waiting to happen. I noticed you were already defending her by calling her sweet. There is nothing sweet about a girl staying down other guys and dating how hot they are. This is a huge red flag for you that she has cheating potential. You're fortunate she is at least giving you hints for you to prepare for it. Remember it's not your pussy just your turn. If you have an Abundance Mentality then you should see this as an opportunity to leave so that you don't start to get jealous or doubting your abilities to get cute girls. Then she will learn she fucked up by doing that and see that she is easily replaceable.

If this girl is young and you are 'mature', then this is just a childish frame-checking shit test. In a counter-intuitive way, it's actually a sign that she feels insecure in the relationship and possibly intimidated. Just crack a half-grin and don't acknowledge verbally, tease via your eyes. You should be secure enough with yourself to not let this bother you. Young girls will do this, they are raised on boy bands and oh-my-gosh stupid fucking vampire media.

No need to sound the alarms and make a big deal. That doesn't work in your favor.

If you do want to be with her and you want her to stop then mirroring her behavior is a good option. It's not beta, it's actually hard to do effectively. She can't know you're doing it on purpose. It's really important to suffer the silences of waiting for her response. it's one of the few and short moments in her life where she'll have the opportunity to be self-reflective and do any kind of thinking. So don't let her off the hook by suggesting answers.

If she agrees, then you may have resolved it. If instead she says, "No that's ok, I didn't mean to make a big deal of it", then you know she doesn't want to change. If it's the later you can keep mirroring until she gets agitated again, or you just downgrade her to fuck-buddy status. Maybe only good for deep-throating and taking it in the ass. I don't know, whatever you want.

When you don't mirror and go straight up confrontational, most women will just get defensive and fault you for faulting them. Seems to be a broad spectrum of thought on this issue, which falls into three camps:

1) Ignore/Laugh it off/agree and amplify shit test response.

Given that I believe the shit test shows disrespect (and a lot of posters agree with me) I think this is not the most masculine response.

2) Bin her.

Yes, an option. Some of you guys give up too easy in my opinion. Its quality pussey, then its worth a little training and correction. I like to do my bit to improve the world.

Absolute key is to maintain the frame that you are prepared to bin her over this, and I do and am...

3) Confront the behavior, and get an apology and blowjob.

I am going with this response, next time she does it, I am going to say:

"I've let a few of these slide, but it's time to tackle this disrespect you are showing.
If you do that again, you will be binned. I'm not jealous, I don't give a fuck, but no one disrespects me to my face."

This is actually pretty common and I have seen it countless times. I remember a year or so ago, I was sitting in a bar reading the forum on my phone and having lunch on a Sunday afternoon and there were all these people there drinking and watching football games (I think drinking during the day is beyond stupid, but that is for another thread). There was this couple there, the guy was wearing a two-tone hat, had obviously low testosterone, and had a voice kind of like High Pitch Eric. He's telling everyone who will listen stuff like my wife this and my wife that. The girl who was with him, obviously his wife, then came up to me and randomly started hugging and kissing me and couldn't keep her hands off me. The guy did absolutely nothing, completely ignored the situation, and acted like it was the most normal thing in the world. She wasn't at all bad for the D.C. area either.
