Disabled yoga class cancelled because India suffered colonial oppression.
I read this in The Times today and almost pissed myself laughing.

The University of Ottawa Student Federation has cancelled a free weekly yoga class for disabled students.....because Yoga is a spiritual culture that experienced oppression due to the subjugation of India by the British Raj!

Apparently the instructor stated that her classes were really a form of stretching, and her disabled students were benefiting enormously. Perhaps they could call it something else? No, they had to cancel it as part of their fight for ‘equality, social progress and justice’.

Well fuck me sideways!
