I saw this in a newspaper today, but they tested the gag reflex with Yoko Ono.

Something weird happened to Amy Schumer - she has gone full libtard and her comedy has become more about peddling the message than making people laugh. I enjoyed her special "Cutting", as well as earlier episodes of her show, and her appearances on the Comedy Central Roasts were always a treat, but then something just snapped and she became the new poster girl for the "women are ugly sluts and thats liberating" movement, even surpassing the queen Dunham. And her comedy has suffered. She is just not nearly as funny as she used to be

I wonder how much of this is her doing, and how much of this are the handlers and the money men in charge. Who knows? But now that she has gone off the deep end of the narrative, can we take her seriously and separate the art and the narrative?

It will be hard. I heard a good point made on the Matt Forney podcast last week - we're living through the "diversify everything NOW!!" era where good performers end up being viewed not as performers or the characters they play - but as a forced token experiment.
Example - John Boyega's Star Wars character might be fully fleshed out, 3 dimensional, etc. But we see his casting as a "diversity" play, where we wouldn't be suspicious of this 10 years ago.

Here's the observation I saw elsewhere that made me LOL most: Pirelli calendar models have roughly a century's worth of camera tricks, flattering angles, Photoshop techniques and retouching to make the women look their absolute best.

These pictures are as good as a hundred years of photographic trickery can make Schumer look. It literally is all downhill from here.

Men don't create calendars for women featuring Seth Rogan and Jonah Hill. So why do women insist on telling men who we should and shouldn't find attractive?

Ironically enough, it's raining here in Maryland and I just skidded into a turn. I need new tires. But even if they offer me a sale Pirellis, I won't buy them. I'll buy Goodyear, Michelin, Sears, ANYTHING else.

If anyone from Pirelli is reading, I hope you all go out of business. See how much Annie Leibowitz and Amy Schumer want to deal with you then.
