Way back in the early 2000's I was renting out a room and one of the people that came to visit was a freakshow. I can't remember if it was a man pretending to be a woman or vice-versa, but either way, it got offended when I referred to it with the wrong pronoun.

He/she could have offered me 2x rent and I still wouldn't have taken it. I know drama when I see it.
