Jesus, the area called "Eastern Europe" just keeps spreading and spreading... if it's not stopped soon, so we'll be referring to Germany as "Eastern Europe" too!



That said, great outcome on their referendum. The Slovene people are not totally gone yet.

Unfortunately, they will be given this referendum over and over until they make the "correct" decision, or some unelected court official will simply decide for them instead.

The definition of Eastern Europe isn't totally clear. As to Germany you could still refer to parts of the country as 'former east[Germany]'.

Otherwise, unfortunately your analysis might be correct.

Cue the homosexual marriage supporters bleating that Slovenia is a backwards country, that most of the countries that actually matter have already legalised it and that Slovenians are stupid bigots. Then ask those same homosexual marriage supporters to point out Slovenia on a map.

Very little mention of this so far in Irish mainstream media (most likely because the SJWs were defeated).
I suspect if it had gone through, we'd be seeing reports and images of sackless gimps jumping around celebrating all over the place and more sheep posting rainbows on their Facebook profiles (thank Christ I left FB a while back!)
