I left Miami with two new notches, two new flags (Jamaica and Iran), and nearly a 3rd bang. All that happened in a 48 hour period. The near-lay being the first set I opened in Miami at the bar, the second a Tinder lay, and the third a groupie I met through work. When you're a star they just let you do it.
One thing I would have changed is to have just been up-front about being a tourist on Tinder/Bumble. In that case, it's tougher to get a match, but if you do, you'll know it's with a girl who just wants to hook up. I ended up liking Bumble. I'm sure there is probably a thread about this somewhere else, but it is designed to give girls the upper hand by requiring them to be the first to text (otherwise like tinder). But it accomplishes the opposite. I had 10-15 girls messaging me, and no time to respond to all of them... Thus it nearly reverses the dynamic on tinder, where girls get hounded by dozens of guys.
A second thing I'd have done is spend more time doing pickup on the beach. Somehow, I barely made there without a girl in tow, but when I did, I found making friends easy. You do that, maybe you don't need to bother with super late night game
Overall synopsis is, though, that there is lots of talent in Miami, and girls wanna hook up on vacation, so it's a great spot. I recommend.
This is why I just laugh at all the Miami haters. Congrats on the two flag trip bro.
Yeah, and in addition, he got two of the most scarce flags in Miami, especially the Iran one. You guys need to meet up with and observe some of the guys who either get blanked in Miami or hate on Miami and report back. I think it would be really helpful.
A lot of those dudes that hate on Miami dont are going to the Tier 1 Clubs like Liv, Story, Space & Eleven etc. They pay $30 - 60 to get in. Once in the club they notice most of hot girls are in VIP sections. They repeat this for a few nights and don't end up pulling then claim Miami is no good or you need to buy bottles and table to get girls. It doesnt seem like those guys that hate on Miami talk much about day gaming on Lincoln or Ocean drive\Beach. I have yet to hear them mention the places the locals go to on the beach or spots in Wynnwood or Mary Brickell Village in downtown Miami.
That is why I tell people to go to the same places I go. These places are free to get in, have a lot of pretty girls that are usually in an open mood, with a really chill atmosphere and music that is not too loud. Unless I am in a group of at least 4 our more I avoid the Tier 1 clubs.
Miami does take some time to figure out. Anyone coming to Miami should just hit up the Miami locals like myself for recommendations/wingmen. It will help make your experience a lot more memorable.

I've never been to any of the clubs which you mentioned. The closest I have been is that really big bar outside of the entrance to LIV. I don't really see the point. You can make whatever you want happen just by doing beach approaches. People, both on and off the forum, go to Miami for two, three, or four days or something, never leave South Beach, go to those clubs you mentioned and are already burned out with money without even haven seen anything or done anything. I say unless you have unlimited funds or something, avoid all of those clubs entirely and avoid buying drinks at those places on Ocean Drive. If you do those two things, you already be ahead of the vast majority of people who visit Miami.

Exactly. All the big name clubs are tourist traps very well designed to create an artificial environment of pressure used to extract money from you. Even the girls inside are mostly props.

It's almost as if the best move in Miami is to do the complete opposite of what most tourists do and even the complete opposite of what most forum members do. I have yet to hear a guy who was in shape and who had language skills tell me he got blanked doing beach approaches or that after doing beach approaches, that all Miami people are stupid.

The hotel was good the last time I checked. W in South Beach was also good, but look out for prostitutes. They are sometimes all over the place. Last time I stayed at the Catalina, which had tons of girls and is far less expensive than those other two places.
I have been lazy about my hotel pool / lounge game. This seemed to be an area that is overlooked by many. With so many out of towners here this weekend I think I will do a bit of everything!!!
Try January pool/pool bar game at the Catalina and thank me later.
That hotel name sounds familiar. Is that one of the hotels that the Airlines rent out for their plane crews?
I'm not sure about the airline thing. Let's just say I never met anyone who worked for an airline there and I spent twelve days there. The hotel is on Collins and consists of two buildings. There is the main building where the lobby and lobby bar are, then an adjoining building, where the pool is and also where there is another bar in the ground floor. I think the rooms in the main building are more expensive, maybe much more expensive. Also, the Catalina, along with multiple sister properties, has a shuttle which provides airport transportation.
