According to Spotify, Wildheart was my most listened to album of 2015. Excellent alternative R&B. "Hollywood Dreams" is a banger, and I would also add the following to Enigma's list...









Caught Miguel's live show in Chicago a few months ago. He's a great showman, if a bit eccentric. Tight backing band. The place was packed with overweight black chicks, and they went apeshit when he took his shirt off. I imagine the scene was like a D'Angelo show circa 2000.

Just downloaded it, but still haven't really checked it out. This chick I met in Germany swears by it. He just seems like a water down version of The Weeknd.

I like Miguel and all his albums. Going to hell is my favorite song on it. I would just cruise in the summer to this song and it would get me in the mood to slay some pussy for the night.

I downloaded it yesterday on a whim after spotting this thread.
There's no wonder about why it's widely rated as one of the best albums of 2015.
Wildheart is fine work and might be Miguel's best music. There is a mix of elements and Miguel is in full flight - whether it is in poignant reflections in the tracks 'what's normal anyway', 'deal', 'Hollywood dreams' 'leaves' and others
or the raunchy songs 'the valley' 'flesh' and 'gfg'.

Wildheart's emblematic track is 'Coffee'. This is the album's most memorable track.
Other stand-outs are 'Hollywood dreams' and 'face the sun'.

Miguel deserves high praise for not trying to go retro, and for not trying to do a genre album.

89 out of 100 rating by me

nah man not at all. i know i'm throwing out some big names, but think a mix of lenny kravitz, prince, and LA gangsta rap.

If he wasn't singing R&B, Miguel should be a pro-wrestler because of his legendary legdrop/flying stomp combo
