Being Italian-American, I never much identified with whiteness while growing up. I felt ethnic.

But years upon years of white-bashing have turned me into something I never thought I'd be: Someone who defends white achievement and thinks there should, in fact, be white pride.

In college, I used to ignore things like this. Now I'm quick to retort "Who built your buildings? Who came up with the Internet? Or the light bulb by which you write all this stuff? Who wrote the Constitution that gives you the freedom of speech to say all this?" If white people are going to get blame, they should get credit -- very specific credit -- for the good they did.

Moral of the story: If you're going to blame white people for society's ills, don't be surprised when they get annoyed and start bringing up white achievement as a retort.

And don't be surprised when they start thinking along racial lines like "The computer is a white invention. So is the recording studio."

I was going to make a comment earlier in this thread and you just gave an example of the point I wanted to make.

As degenerate as society is, I think this kind of hardcore propaganda could have an effect where it pushes more and more people to defend white achievement, which could lead to white pride becoming more mainstream.

You can't expect an entire ethnic group to turn on itself.

The vocal left-wingers kind of distort the whole picture. You have a lot of conservative people who keep their white pride behind closed doors. If push comes to shove who knows what would happen.

You can bet your bottom dollar that they will be taking pot shots at "whiteness" during this month as well. One month isn't enough for SJWs.
