Any BMXers around here?
I just saw that one of the legend of the sport that I grew up watching at a young age just died, apparently he committed suicide.
I'm wondering why such a competitive guy who seemingly had it all (legend statue, money, wife, daughters) will commit suicide.
Lack of mission or purpose in life after such a great career? Personal problems with wife?

Head injuries ==> depression ==> suicide. That's my bet, anyway. I read he had a pretty severe traffic accident with a serious head injury, and who knows how many concussions after that during a long BMX-career.

Besides, if anything, "guys who have it all" are overrepresented in suicides as far as I can see.

Male suicide is becoming quite common - it has a lot to do with feminists changing reality that does not accommodate the male psyche. Many men still are trying to change their inner mental nature to adjust to the feminist version of reality. To do this a man must exert an abnormal amount of effort to change and adjust but even in the end few men are able to do this. To be strong and masculine and also feminine. The smart men are the ones who are refusing to play the game on the feminists terms. Still male suicide is at an all time high but neither feminists nor the feminist govt really has any interest in understanding why or help solve the problem males are facings. It is still another unnoticed statistic to them.
