In particular, there are two girls (23 and maybe 22?) at my gym, who work out regularly (also, after working hours, so they are likely employed). What's your best approach for speaking to girls when they are at the gym? I've actually asked girls out in public areas, but I struck up a conversation about the supplements they were buying (at a GMC, one time) and, back in college, it's easy, as you can just talk about classes and then take it from there.

Keep in mind that gym approaches can be tricky. This is someone you're likely to run into often and girls like to talk. If things go south there's a good chance you just "shit where you eat." In this environment, I like to take it slow. Friendly chit chat, and let her see you talking to other people (not just girls) so she realizes you're the type of guy who talks to everyone. Drop in a small compliment after a while. Escalate slowly over time and when your gut says she's into you, tell her you're going out for a drink later and invite her to join you. If she says yes, exchange numbers.

This is how I generally handle meeting girls at the gym, other guys may have a different opinion.

It's extremely rare but sometimes this doesn't work. That's where you have to go extreme. First you have to curl a shitload of weight in the squat rack to regain her attention. Once she's over there get her to squat and teach her how to get real low by standing directly behind her holding the weight. Like this but with squats.

I've always had a blind spot with approaching in gyms. I dunno, it always seems a bit sleazy to me, plus i go to relatively small gym and would see the same girls often. I know it shouldn't be, and more power to you if you're doing it, but me it seems a bit of a high-stakes spot for daygame.
