I loved the first three Indiana Jones movies but the 4th was complete shit. But if Lucas is out of the picture there might be a tiny bit of hope.

On the other, Disney owns this now and they will probably try to introduce Indy's long lost tranny daughter (Maybe Shia Labeef "transitioned" since the 4th movie?) or make Indy have a gay moment or something. It is a real shame; The Last Crusade ended near-perfectly with Indy and company riding off into the sunset during the credits with a fantastic music score playing. I use to stay up in the middle of the night as a kid just taking it all in, contemplating the possible future adventures in life as an adult. I wonder if kids today have masculine heroes that inspire them to seek out great adventures. Maybe someone here knows what I mean.

The original was made in 1981, and set in 1936. It's been 35 years now. Will the new one be set in the 70's?

Too bad they can't think of any new ideas for movies. Next up, Saving Private Ryan, the Sequel. Then, Saving Private Ryan III, and finally, Saving Private Ryan, the Prequel!

If Spielberg is involved than this might actually be a pretty great sequel. He is one of the few directors whose words have a strong say when making a studio film of this magnitude.

Indiana Jones 4 was worse then the 3 first movies, but it wasn't too bad, I was still able to enjoy it. All it lacked was cutting out two or three cringeworthy scenes.

However I am afraid that the 5th movie will be much like the latest Star Wars movie, which was completely dismal.

The only hope is that if Trump wins and sets a new example of what is considered cool, trendy and hip for Holywood to follow.

Saw some of the Indiana Jones movies in theatre/drive-up when I was a kid. I remember sitting in the back of my dad's old 70's ford pickup watching Last Crusade.

- Starts to identify himself as Diana Jones

I was not a fan of Alien 3. Or 4. Or Prometheus. They're ruining the franchise by ret-conning some bullshit "backstory" that never needed to be put there in the first place.

Lets hope they don't Mad Max it. With the way movies are being remade to go with today's agenda Jones will probably be a secondary character to some shaved head bulldyke who can snap a bullwhip, fight and shoot better than Indy. And then like in Star Wars they'll just kill him off.
