The husband claims that

It gotten that bad:

My suggestions:
1. Block credit cards.
2. Move to cash only.
3. Disconnect home internet service.
4. Dread game.
5. Collect evidence for the online shopping frenzy.

Good luck for the husband, if his version is a good description of reality.
