Not sure if this goes to game or travelling forum.

I am not a good looking guy, so if I set my location to AUS/UK, I do atrociously - I get pretty much only ugly/fat matches. However, if I set it to any Eastern European city, I do much much better - significant % of my matches are bangable/attractive to me.

^^^ This pretty much confirms other forum members experience and how much EE is better for men.

So I want to ask two questions everyone here:

Is Tinder a good proxy of how good the sexual market is for men in the country?

Is Tinder a good screening tool before deciding where to travel?

I don't know, but anywhere must be better than Vatican City, thats for sure.

Been doing this for the past few weeks to see in what places I would do better that I wanted to travel to.

I would say yes.

I live in the US and hardly get any matches. But then again, I swipe left most of the time. Quality is bad.

Changing my location to SEA gets me higher quality and exponentially more matches. Aside from a few crafty SIFs who change the aspect ratios of their pics to make themselves look thinner, the quality is pretty representative of what you see in real life, perhaps with half a shade darker skin.

I travel a lot and have used Tinder to pipeline in the past.

I don't think so. In many non-western countries, women have tried to emulate westerners' use of Tinder, but ironically men have not. Most non western men know better ways to pick up women in their areas. So I think tinder attracts western conscious women and some forward thinking men. This combination, to me, does not accurately reflect those markets.

This I think is 50/50. It can give a good sense of what women look like, but it is not always accurate. In many areas only 0-5's are on tinder. The better looking women don't need or use it.

For both questions, Tinder is more of a proxy for westernization than anything else.

A good example of this, in Budva Montenegro, no one was using Tinder but it is the highest concentration of 10 I have seen in my life.

its a good way to judge if one area is better than another.

But the quality you'll see on tinder for given area, is lower than the quality you'll see in real life, for that same given area.

I found it interesting how big the discrepancies in terms of matches are for me in Eastern Europe. I tried a couple different countries and had very different results. Romania, Croatia, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia for example not that many matches. Poland, Belarus, Montenegro almost all girls I swiped right were matches. Is it common knowledge that those countries are significantly easier in EE?

Croatia Hungary, Czech, Slovakia and to a maybe slightly lesser extent Romania, are all well trod (some would say played out) paths on the Western tourist trail by now, and have been for over a decade. In Czech now I would say that being Western is on the scale of Low Status.

Whereas Belarus and Montenegro are far less exposed to westerners, and also significantly poorer economically (Belarus and Montenegro at least), so your Western high status will stay play for you, significantly in Belarus. Poland i think location would be dependent, generally i would say they are borderline Western in outlook in a lot of spots these days.
