It’s not that he doesn’t like women. “I enjoy their companionship, but it’s not a significant part of life,” said Patterson, a web designer in Bellingham, Wash.

As the society changes (changed?) to being more feminized, with more resources and choice for women, the corresponding percentage of women (most women aren't that hot and they are certainly less sweet and less feminine) and men (more drastically hit, the number was 20% and now is probably 15% or fewer) that have sex will be less.

Theres alot of ugly and out of shape girls in LA, and I feel really weird saying it, but its true. Look at SF, its a nightmare, consider the wealth and how kool that city is.

Here's a quick summary of what's going on, in no particular order:

1. Women are so fat these days, that many men just can't be bothered. Fat kills desire.
2. Rape hysteria and the associated laws act as a disincentive.
3. Men are being taught to be wimps, single mothers can't teach men how to be desirable.
4. Free, easily available online porn and video games offer men huge outlets for their energy that require no risk, all reward, no matter how fleeting.
5. Technology addiction via cell phone and "social" media are killing real-life social skills, increasing awkwardness around the opposite sex.
6. The economy is still crap, and dating/mating/having kids is expensive.
7. The globalist propaganda says global warming and overpopulation is rampant, discouraging people from having children.
8. Slutty women and their STD's, pregnancy scares and personal drama make a man think twice about chasing tail.

The bottom line? Each man needs to work even harder on self-improvement instead of wallowing in the status quo.

Regarding the Chinese girl above, she's of middling attractiveness. Not ugly, but not a looker. Most likely, she realizes, correctly, that she can't snag one of Chicago's Loop's high-end men and isn't easily satisfied with a middling attractiveness beta males. It's more common than people realise, plus that masculine/feminine dynamic just isn't common anymore in big liberal cities. Men and women are essentially the same and what is sexy about being androgynous. Plus the lack of pair bonding and hook up culture inflicts irreversible damage on women and I would say men as well. It ends up deadening their ability to connect or feel comfortable sexually with a person from the opposite sex.

A couple thoughts...

Wealth provides a lot of really interesting other things we could all be doing. It doesn't make sex less fun or exciting, there's just a lot more other fun exciting things competing with it...albeit on a lower level in my opinion.

Glad they hit on antidepressants, but they missed all the other drugs. Alcohol, speed (adderal, etc)...any and all mood altering medications.

Birth control does more than just allow the woman to control pregnancy, it allows her to control her hormones and mood swings. I've been in relationships where women went on or off BC...they get much hornier when not drugged up (along with negative emotions).

I know they posted bargraphs and shit like that from studies that show some kind of downward trend in sexual activity among youth these days... but from the ground level I certainly don't see it. We live in the most "sex positive" time in American history, and hookup culture (unlike rape culture) is real and rampant. The technology available now to avoid unwanted pregnancy and abort them in the event they happen is incredibly accessible and widely available for everyone. I find it very hard to believe millennials are having "less sex."

I will admit we live in a time where more men are emasculated so there are a lot more men who aren't having sex or end up virgins well into their 20's (or beyond).

That is the very definition of an average looking woman. She's not overweight, she has at least one good attribute (Pretty hair), and there's nothing particularly wrong with the rest of her. I don't know about you guys, but sex is a whoop di do thing for me.

It's fun, i enjoy doing it but i don't need it.

Instead of chasing tail and banging lots of random girls i'd rather be professional, work on myself, and heads towards a better future.

I think it suppresses mood. My wife went of birth control the first time in her life a few years ago (it is part of the IVF process). It negatively affected her mood and she was happy to be off the stuff.
