I'd probably stare at her ass cheeks and nod in satisfaction and then head to class. Opening is one part, but I struggle with knowing where take a conversation when I announce my intentions or slip in with small talk.

She's pretty much got her ass cheeks slipping out those jean shorts, so I think there's a good chance a direct opener calling her hot/sexy with strong eye contact will bear fruit or land you tits up shit creek.

I would probably go indirect with this one. Open with the outfit / bag / flip flops / phone /directions and ramble from there.

Another thing is to not forget to tease her. I like your hair it looks very nice, you look like a Miley Cyrus fan... I would have said that, it might sound cheesy written like this in the forum but the girl will probably feel complimented then a little offended and that's exactly what you want. Tease her gently but make her feel something before you go for the close. Your odds will be higher. The hotter the girl the harder it will be for you to tease her but that's what will make the difference between you and all the other guys in the long run.
