Had this situation a few times recently. You're going for the pull, have them in the building, coaxing them up the stairs – when they stop. They refuse to come in the door, because they know what will happen. I've not been able to get around this one. Anyone dealt satisfactorily with this?

Had this quite a few times. This is the second LMR stage. First is when you make a decision to head toward your place or hers, 2nd is at the door, 3rd is at the bed.

If you are passed the first stage the chances to get pass the next one are in your favor. Persistence is the only answer. Talk, convince, find lame excuses. In the end of the day that is all she needs. An excuse to not feel like a slut. Take the blame.

Agree to all she says but keep pushing.

Last time I had this staircase LMR I was literally fighting for every step and every floor. The doors are the hardest to pass. What a struggle. And how good it felt when I managed to overcome the resistance.
The harder the LMR the more girl will respect you for overcoming it. Yet sometimes if you fail you might never see her again.

My go to is always...let's have some tea. I then playfully and quasi seductively rattle off types of tea "chaaaaaaii tea" "english BREAKFAST tea" "oooobLONG tea" etc, etc. " You like tea, don't you?"

It's harmless and sprinkled with some NLP.

Needless to say, the pot never boils.

More details would be welcome. But I'll go into the little detail you gave.
In my view you should not have to put effort in getting a girl in your place at that stage (front door, stair case etc). What I mean is, she should already be on the level that the decision to come to your place has been made before you go to your place.

Possible exception if she was driving you home. But even in that case, either she comes up or she doesn't. If you have to put effort into her coming up the staircase, there's something wrong.

Due to time constraints, I was aiming for a fast pull. Opened her in the park, around 3pm. She would have been a hard 7, with a couple years shaved off. Black mixed girl.

I had no time to spare, so I asked her back to my place for tea. She was ambivalent but seemed very happy to be chatting to me, flattered even. We were going same direction on subway, so I brought her along with me.

The whole time she was playfully disagreeing, but I pushed on. She hesitated at the front door, but I coaxed her in. Made it all the way up the stairs, but she wouldn’t come in.

I went for a hail mary kiss. She moved, but was giggling and lingered in my embrace. We have to keep the mystery, she kept saying. Then she left.

Probably could have spent more time on her, but I didn’t have it. The “mystery” stuff suggests to me that she was past her sell-by date, at the age where being pumped and dumped is no longer fun.

ANOTHER situation happened just right now. She said: I can't come back to a strangers' house. I defused her objection on the way with relative ease. Then it was plain sailing. But she had a boyfriend...

I suppose their objections should be disarmed before you bounce. But sometimes you have to just get them back. Hard to say.

Just get some lame excuse, and agree & amplify every excuse she gives. One step at a time. Every step is one step closer to the bang. But in theory it shouldn't happen if your game was tight.
