NEWBIE GUIDE FOR LTR's

Threads from newbies that have no clue how handle a LTR pop up all the time. Most of the time these guys and their relationships are on the losing end as it starts. This is meant to be a basic guide and newbie general question thread for LTR's

CHOOSE THE RIGHT GIRL

Where a lot of guys fail is the initial screening. They choose girls that give them the male equivalent of tingles even though these girls have more red flags than an Ohio state football game.

You should be dating multiple females at the same time. If one has potential continue to screen and date her as you bang other girls. Take your time on screening her. LTR's are pregame for marriage/kids so they should be taken seriously.

You should pay attention to:

How she treats you
How she treats her family
What her family is like
How she treats you
What her friends are like
How she treats wait staff
How she treats you
How your natural connection is
What she does with her free time
How she treats you

HOW TO WIN THE RELATIONSHIP

Start strong. Set boundaries based on respect and that will get you farther than most. Make her be the one asking to be to exclusive. Have control of each move/advancement in the relationship.

Never stop gaming. Play into her jealousy by taking her out to places you know that women will you attention.

Be impossible to read by giving mixed symbols from pushing/pulling. Never stop gaming.

Be spontaneous and give excitement in many different ways(Fucking, what you do, going out)

Continue to improve yourself so if she doesn't she won't be along for the ride.

Be dominant. Never stop gaming. The one who cares more loses.

AFTER THE HONEY MOON

The honey moon period is easy. Everything is fun and exciting about this person. This only lasts up to 6 months and then the same things you loved about this person before annoy you. This is where screening right comes in.

You should enjoy each other's personalities and your lives should compliment each other's. Make sure to still spend time with other people since being around each other too much can get anyone to hate each other.

After the honey moon period ends the relationship will take a small dip a lot of time. This is where a girl will want to move in, get pregnant, get married to try to make things better. This is not the time for such a drastic change. Remember you control the pace of the relationship. Only reward her with things like that once she has earned it after YEARS of behavior.

MISTAKES TO AVOID

Stopping gaming your girl
Moving the relationship forward to quickly
Letting her control the pace of the relationship
Being boring/predictable
Spending too much time with her early in the relationship
Stopping having a social life outside of her
Getting her pregnant
Stopping improving yourself
Starting in her frame
Not ever talk to/flirt with other women
Don't screen her hard/long enough
Be afraid to drop her

If you follow this you will do alright in a LTR but always be prepared to drop her in an instant.

I agree with most of your points, but I think there may be confusion about LTR vs. marriage as "not getting her pregnant" seems counter intutive to the marriage part. Could you define what scope you are considering an LTR? Is it a perpetual state or somewhere between "dating" but before "marriage?"

I would also add pay attention to:
- how she behaves around children (especially if marriage/family) is on the horizon
- how she behaves in a crisis. I recommend manufacturing a crisis in an LTR before marriage if one doesn't occur naturally.

I meant get her pregnant early in the relationship/before you plan it. Not in general.

I consider the LTR the try out for marriage.

Part of screening has to be discovering as much about her history as possible. What has she been doing in the years before you date her? Was she a sugar baby, or a YOLO chick etc.?
Assess her just like a second hand car. Too much mileage? She's not worth it.

Emphasis. Screening is the determining factor. Get the right girl and half the work is already done.

The irony though is that newbies usually dont have the experience to screen and tend to ignore red flags. Red flags in the screening phase should never be ignored. Remember, girls employ their best game when they are trying to secure a relationship so eyes open.

Personally I would add in "virgin required/preferable", with a few exceptions allowed. Not all virgins are good sure and not all non-virgins are bad, but if you have 2 candidates of equal quality, the virgin one will bond to you much much better, rather than you being just another man in her life.
