Why I'm taking a break from politics (for now)
My newest podcast discusses the relationship between man and politics, and why I didn't like the changes I saw in myself the deeper I got into the fight...

Quote:How involved should a man get with politics? Should he become an activist who is eternally politically aware or should he forget about politics entirely? In this podcast, I explain both the benefits and costs of getting involved with politics and how my inclusion on a "hate list" in 2012 caused me to dedicate much of my life to the political, with little to show for it in the end. I describe the threat of social justice to a heterosexual man's existence and what I believe is the ideal strategy for balancing a well-lived life with avoiding oppression. I also share my rules of engagement for when there is no other option but to fight back.

Great choice Roosh and I think it will have a ripple effects on a lot of us here who are addicted to the forum.

I was a lot happier and energetic when I came here just to discuss game. Since the politics forums got on steroid 2 years ago, I became a lot more bitter and gloomy.

It will be good to have this forum back on its original purpose again.

Having listened to this pod cast, I understand how it belongs in the Deep Forum, but I wonder if it (also?) belongs in the Politics sub-forum.

It is always a good idea to take time away from politics. It isn't the science of truth. You're better off studying other subjects to come to a better understanding of the world.

2015 and 2016 was THE time for politics. Now with President Trump on the way, it's time to get back to brass tacks and discuss how to be better men.

RE: Why I'm taking a break from politics (for now)
My country has elections coming up in 2017 but with a population of 4 million people the politics is so BORING after being on the Trump train. I just can't get into it.
I don't think anything radical will happen and so I'm going to sit it out and get educated enough to vote well.

I have a nasty habit of internalizing the worlds problems and 2017 is going to be a year where I care more about me than anyone else. Not healthy to constantly be angry at problems that are worlds away. In all honesty I've been using it as an excuse not to fix myself.

Thanks for tackling this subject. It was easy to get sucked down the rabbit hole during this past US election cycle. Looking forward to hearing your take on it.

Is there anywhere I can download your podcasts to my phone or pc's hd? I'm in Ukraine and unless I'm on a wi-fi streaming will kill my data plan.

Good call.

The turn into politics was bad for your brand. Two years ago your brand was based on game, travel and self-improvement with some mocking of feminism. That brand was a winner.

It just fill your brain with so many information and things you can't change. But it's good to remind yourself from time to time about what's going on in your country.

Taking a break from politics isn't going to be easy, trust me on this. Peace.

RE: Why I'm taking a break from politics (for now)
Roosh I can see the sentiment on your end.

I was a huge game advocate on the forum but once the tide turned to the "Donald Trump Thread," I became obsessive. So obsessive that I wanted to win.

At some level I started judging people and I judged them with a broad brush. If they were liberal, I began to see them as scum. I became hateful. A lot of this is due to the forum posts and general conservative rhetoric that seeped into me. This was the same thing that happened to me when I first got into game. I was hateful of betas and often times of women. It was rocky.

What I find is that when you take politics out of the mix, you start being a human being and developing yourself more fully. Sure you have disagreements with so called liberals but that doesn't mean you cannot connect. Me, I stopped connecting, and that was a completely negative byproduct of this election. I'm pulling myself out of it now but it will take a little time.

Nothing dries pussy as fast as talking politics.

Best avoided if you want to stick it in and get it wet.

Totally agree we have saved the USA and much of the world from the Sorosian Deep State Clinton/Obamunista Globalists and now it is time to live prosperous fulfilling lives of sexual abundance with a bit of Trumpian Stealth Mode Baby Booming thrown into ensure our genetics carry on to new generations in my case of Nuclear Sea Warriors mixed with brilliant beauty to give our progeny the benefit of higher IQs, Courage, Wisdom, Natural Alpha mindset by Osmosis and beauty and compassion from their Feminine Loyal Alpha Female mothers that we now all know how to screen for thanks to many pointed topics on RVF and ROK.

Been working this set of stealth baby boom approaches with many positive (LOL Style) approaches - seems that most high SMV feminine women consider it a compliment when an Alpha male suggests that they make a mutual plan for her insemination if you do it right - immediately sexualizes the social intercourse without pedestalizing the target banglerz - their beauty is instead commoditized for the benefit of future generations. ... Bang on for America Men:

Variants of the D2 Stealth (Trumpian) Baby Boom Openers:

We should work on a plan to repopulate the world with more magnificent beauties like you!

We should make a plan to repopulate the world with more beauty like you...

We really should consider a plan to repopulate earth with an assortment of beauties - several little boys and girls - that look a lot like you!

I've had similar experiences, both with game and with the forum's recent turn to politics.

It reminds me of a quote from Bruce Lee:

Quote:Before I learned the art, a punch was just a punch, and a kick, just a kick. After I learned the art, a punch was no longer a punch, a kick, no longer a kick. Now that I understand the art, a punch is just a punch and a kick is just a kick.

For me, there's always some turbulence with internalizing a new idea before coming to peace with it.
