You didn't understand my point, Goldin Boy. I was absolutely not talking about hacking.

I mean... not talking about this precise case, but generally speaking: I wanted to say that the Establishment can give orders to Facebook and Tweeter... not hack into them. Order Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, whatever, to doctor their databases. With the genuine admin passwords, no hacking necessary. That's the beauty of it, the Establishment just has orders to bark, and Facebook, Google and the likes would alter their databases.

One thing more: A few intelligence services in the world, or so I heard, have software that create fake (clusters of linked) individuals on the internet. Fake facebook friends by the dozens, fake social media users. Government agencies can and do create them, when needed, using softwares, for various reasons.

(Once again, probably not in this insignificant case, unless this case is a dry run, which it probably is not)

Ok but where's your proof that government can do this?

You're a smart guy GS, surely you can understand that saying something tantamount to :

and provide 0 corroborating evidence is going to make people skeptical of what you're saying or think it's conspiracy/fear-mongering? Again, I think it's possible but not probable this all just an elaborate propaganda experience; what proof do have that you're saying is true or could be true?

Where is the proof that the (soon-to-be-gone, thanks the Lord) Obama government was able to give orders to the owner of Facebook, a US citizen living in the US and making most of his money in the US?... I don't need proof, it's obvious: would mister whatshisnerdyname deny a request coming from the very top, at the risk of being disciplined, and especially as he himself is a Obama-adoring Leftist? Of course though, it would have to be for something important, and not a daily occurrence...
Or alternatively, I could bet that quite a number of intelligence agencies in the world have the means to find the admin passwords of Facebook and Tweeter (thus gaining access to their databases, but then OK, we're talking about hacking), or buy (or coax) the passwords from the admins themselves.
As to creating clusters of fake internet users, look up on google, "software social media HBGary Federal", you'll have your proof.
