It’s become clear to most people that the American media is an anti-American activist institution that exists to benefit a handful of billionaires and their useful idiots. Outside of weather reports and local news announcing how many gangbangers were killed in the ghetto, they do not engage in reporting that is remotely objective. Instead, they force all events of the world through their own narrative grinder to protect their globalist interests. Most Americans already know the media can’t be trusted; the last step is to make them outright irrelevant.
Below are three steps you can take to destroy the establishment media, and it’s likely you have already started.
1. Do not give them content

Being part of a dissident movement that wants to affect societal change will put you on the media’s radar, leading to the assignment of a team of journalists to marginalize your movement’s views. They’ll produce dozens of content pieces that make your movement appear more threatening than Hitler, all while advancing their globohomo agenda. Your movement will be used as a key reason why the media’s agenda is needed (e.g. “Roosh’s ‘pro-rape’ views shows why feminism is so important” or “The alt right’s white supremacy shows why we still have a long way to go towards eliminating hate.”)
The second you have a name for your public dissident movement, and put a “leader” at its forefront, you have graduated to the class of inadvertent useful idiots, even if it wasn’t your intention. While you may appreciate the work I’ve done, its malicious distortion strengthened myths such as “rape culture” and “toxic misogyny” for no concrete benefit except to make me infamous. I can accept that every time I am in the news, I help the enemy, because their false constructions and accusations help their side more than ours.
Worse than participating in a dissident movement for mainstream attention is agreeing to a media interview. If the media ever asks to interview you, and you are an enemy of the establishment, they see you as a useful idiot. They will paint you in a way that promotes the agenda of media owners. Not only that, but you give them free content. You enrich and aid them while receiving the “benefit” of having more readers who hate you.
The media articles written about me has benefited my ego more than the masculine movement I’m a part of, because for every man who finds me because of a media article, 1000 simpletons are inoculated against my ideas and become even firm in their opposition to what we stand for. Such a horrendous conversion rate shows how disingenuous I was when justifying media interviews as a way to “get the word out.” It was a damaging activity, and today I wish I could put the genie back in the bottle to remain relatively unknown and faceless.
2. Don’t give them views

Media sites earn revenue in two ways: advertising and sponsorship from billionaires. You directly aid them when you visit their sites, even if it may be a minuscule contribution of pennies.
It may be hard to admit that you are dependent not just on the media for news of what’s going on, but also for topics of discussion with family, friends, and acquaintances. Most of what human beings converse about concerns their immediate environment, and there is no other efficient means to learn about that than receiving “news” and sharing that news with others.
I could advise men to only read books or digest long-form evergreen content, but we have an innate need to know what is going on right this minute, whether in our social circle, in our city, or elsewhere in the world. The best advice is therefore to rely on news less, and get out of the reactive cycle where you seek out news content to react to and immediately share for the instant dopamine release of breaking a news story to your friends or internet community.
Because I believe it is impossible to stop consuming news entirely, the next best option is to use ad blockers to starve media companies for money. Use sites like Archive.is when you want to share a news article with others.
3. Lower their social status

One of the ways that the media gains trust is through their public-facing reporters and journalists. Many Americans think Anderson Cooper is the most honest man in the country or that Democratic party collaborator Chuck Todd is presenting news based on facts. It falls upon our shoulders to inform them otherwise and share how the media has colluded with the establishment machine to present fake news to the public, and how this collusion misshapes everything they present.
If you don’t have evidence that journalists are colluding with establishment forces, make fun of them. Make them appear as “uncool” salarymen in the eyes of the public. Mock their appearance, their mannerisms, and their weaknesses. Insult their intelligence as teleprompter-reading puppets. Bring to light their privileged, decadent, and amoral lifestyles that puts them out of touch to anyone who lives in but a handful of coastal cities.
Most Americans already know that the media contains at least some bias, but they’ll tune out entirely if they don’t respect those who are presenting the news. For an institution that needs to be esteemed, mockery will cause them the most amount of harm and disdain. Make the public feel ashamed for wanting to get their news from liars, homosexuals, and degenerates.
Conclusion

Gallup research already shows the intense distrust that Americans have for the media. The Trump administration will single-handedly marginalize them at every opportunity it gets, and we can aid in that mission with the above three actions. But what will replace the establishment media once its destroyed? Are you certain that outlets like Infowars and Breitbart are immune to participating in the very same transgressions of pushing their own agenda, massaging the truth, and publishing fake news? I’ll give them a chance, but I know a media outlet that is truthful today can slide into pushing moneyed interests tomorrow.
We must admit that “real news” is an ideal, and that producing any type of news is a costly endeavor that yields great power to the outlets that collectively gain the trust of millions of people. We can destroy the mainstream media, but then we’ll have to keep a close eye on what replaces it. Until then, I’ll play my role and wrecking the current order, but I won’t fully trust what I cannot see, hear, or touch. The only objective news is what I can process with my senses directly, without a journalist or media outlet acting as a filter between me and reality, and that my unquenchable human need for news is the flaw that perpetuates the cycle. My only hope is that I’ll be satisfied with the new order that I help come into power.

You're absolutely right that the media is a traitorous bunch of scum. They regularly incite violence against those they dislike, and then provide cover for the criminals that actually carry out the crime. The Toronto affair showed that. The meetup affair showed that. If the press says you're a rapist, or you support rape, in the public's eye, you are a rapist. Those of us on RVF/ROK are rape apologists or actual rapists. Facts are irrelevant. What matters is how you are portrayed.

Here's some additional tactics that will work:

1. Do not consent to be interviewed by them. It will always be selectively edited to portray you in the worst possible light. If they ask for comment, just tell them you don't do interviews with presstitutes. Let them print your contempt for them, if anything at all. We need to Blitzkrieg the media into oblivion. The only interview you should do with the media is a one-sentence or two insult to their legitimacy ala Bannon:

Use their lingo against them. Use "fake news" as a header for any response to their propaganda. The more they can be institutionally discredited, the better. Point out that less than one out of three Americans trust the mainstream media.

Also, only refer to the MSM as "The Old Media". "Old" sounds like dying, outdated, lacking progress, unoriginal, stodgy. Do NOT refer to them as "mainstream". That is falling into their frame.

2. Adblock Plus is available for Chrome and most other popular browsers. Use it. I whitelist sites like breitbart.com so they can actually display adds and survive. It isn't enough to block the ad revenue of the bad sites, it is critical to throw your weight behind the media outlets that are worth supporting.

3. There are free newspapers that are distributed in many cities that depend solely on advertising. Locally, there is an absolutely horrible one that constantly attacks men, traditional values, etc. I regularly confiscate large stacks of them and toss them in the recycling bin.

4. If you are an I.T. administrator, you can use a Open DNS or similar tools to black list employees from viewing propaganda sites like CNN while at work. Start checking usage logs and block sites that are full of lies. http://www.opendns.com

5. Create your own content. Start a blog. Contribute threads/posts to RVF. Write articles for ROK. Post Facebook/Twitter content. You must swamp the opposition with alternative viewpoints. I think SJW controlled social media has some benefits in breaking through to the moderates. The real challenge and results will be starting more ROK's, more Breitbarts, etc. There's lots of inspiration on the subreddit The_Donald. These people know meme warfare. Mock SJW's openly. Make a laughing stock out of them. Most normal people view these people as worthy only of pity, if not contempt. Pile on.

6. For the increasingly few media companies that allow comments under the articles, post links to ROK, RVF, etc., post counterpoints and links to their bullshit. Start driving traffic for those not yet exposed to the red pill to ROK/RVF/Breitbart/Project Veritas, etc. The worst thing that can happen is your comment gets deleted. Don't waste time getting into long arguments in the comments section with hardcore leftists. Make a quick point and force people to click through on your link. We need to shift the narrative to our platforms where censorship isn't rampant. You can't win a full frontal attack against the media. Flank them from the side and rear.

7. Mock journalists as soft-studies losers. Oh? You're a journalist? Couldn't find a real job? That's too bad. How's it like working for a billion dollar corporation while making $24k a year to spout what your editor tells you? How's it like being a mouthpiece for much more powerful men? You must lead and lonely life. I pity you.

8. Sue them. If they publish something that defames you that is blatantly false, contact an attorney and see if you have a libel case. The Gawker/Hulk Hogan trial proved that they aren't bulletproof. Network with lawyers in your area, and put your social circle in touch with them if one of them gets assassinated by the press.

9. Long-term, once enough of the MSM is destroyed or discredited, we will still need a free press for a healthy society. We need to make the case that it is the press that is in need of greater disclosure. They are always asking government for more transparency. Now it is our turn to ask the same of the press, regardless of outlet. How about a roll of all staffers and which party they registered to vote for? How about a list of all politicians and PAC's they have donated to? Just like the NRA and AARP gives ratings to politicians for doing or not doing their biding, we need to start a press watchdog organization and rank them according to transparency. Those who are always wishing to shine the light on others need a little light themselves. Let the cockroaches scatter.
