Current info on Yogyakarta, Borobudur, etc.?
I'm planning a trip to see Borobudur, Prambanan, volcanoes and that sort of thing in the next month or so. Has anyone been to Yogyakarta recently? How did you like it?

Girls are only secondary for this trip. Mainly concerned with sightseeing, coffee and food.

Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language. And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.

no, but i've been to Hawaii and that volcano is going nuts right now. of course that island has a very small population, about 175,000 and very spread out.

I was there two years ago.
It's a very spread out city with not many tall buildings...kind of a village/small town feel.
Nightlife wasn't bad, even during the week. Try Boshe and Liquid clubs, that whole area is pretty nice actually. Didn't see any other foreigner around there.
The main tourist area is across town...a few streets with hotels and nice restaurants/bars but not much going out at night.
The center is very crowded with people and not much to see/do.
Borobudur was impressive, Prambanan less so but still worth it.

Yogyakarta: I was there I 3 years ago. Girls were staring at me quite blatantly, not because they wanted to have sex with me but because I was 6'3 and I don't think they see too many tourists. I walked to their one small mall and was getting looked at a lot with girls smiling.

Nightlife was okay, city is cheap AF, temples are nice to visit if you can get there early.
