Why not just go with indifference? Even if you want something from her, I think indifference is the way to play it.

This girl is just another stepping stone on your path, and there is no reason to treat her as anything but. Don't let yourself create some romantic fiction that she was special in any other way from some casual fuck.

Besides the more aloof you are, the more she is going to start getting worried about not being remembered. No woman likes to think of themselves as a stepping stone, as they all prefer to think there that one special exception to the rule.

I've had this happen before, particularly with bar sluts. I try to make them feel awkward, instead of me. Depends on the girl though. Also it depends on if you want to try to bang her again. IE - you might throw in something like, "I bet you're really missing my penis these days." I said that one in a text reply though... IIRC, the response was, "No!" followed by, "Ok, I guess a little."

I run into ghosts of bangs past all the time at my regular haunts. You don't need to do anything apart from saying hey and then ignore them. If I'm with a girl I'm working on I may greet them properly and exchange some niceties for social proof. They never mention that we fucked and I don't bring it up.

It's only as awkward as you make it.
