Here is the situation:

There's a far-left guy in San Francisco, US who openly supports terrorists on his social media (with more than 3K followers). In his support, he even used the word "terrorists" among the groups (like Muslims, Arabs, and etc.) have been oppressed by Trump administration.

I don't want to report this account on Twitter or Facebook. Both companies are full of SJW idiots. They won't do anything. And being his account suspended is nothing.

I don't trust the police. But I want to report this guy anyway. I have intelligence that he's in the process of applying for American citizenship and I believe shits like him don't deserve to hold an American passport.

Obviously, I don't want to make a call to the police and talk to them. I'm British and I don't know how the legality works in the US.

Is there any website that you can submit a report? What's that website? Will they take any actions? Should I bother?

You're a better man than me I suppose.

I picture answering 99 questions to FBI agents, having my name in the paper as a hero for letting the police know about the ISIS SJW guy, terrorist sympathizers in the Obama shadow government group leaking my address, my own calls being monitored, etc.

That's just me though I'm not big on being a hero unless it helps me.

Just do it- report him. I think you can contact the FBI or Department of Homeland Security online. If you feel strongly that this guy is threat I'm not sure why you're holding back. They collect tips all the time. I think you can do it anonymously if that is important to you.

Is this someone you know? A public figure? Both?

I don't know why you're concerned about this blowing back on you, espcially with this administration, they're not going to do anything to you.

Do it. Remember folks, if you see something say something. You never know how involved some of these people could be and if they are openly sympathizing with terrorists it's your duty to pass it on.

Don't do it. The first thing they will do is investigate you. You better have all your papers in order. The authorities already know everything, including what time you go to bed at night and the last call you made on your iphone. They would be monitoring something so obvious if they cared about it.

If you're feeling a bit paranoid (and if you are, I don't blame you), go to WalMart and pay cash for a cheap cell phone. Use it to call your local FBI field office and ask for the number to the JTTF (Joint Terrorism Task Force). Talk to a JTTF agent. He/she may be a task force agent, not necessarily an FBI, and that's fine. Tell them any info you have and they'll look at it.

The fact is that they are likely already looking at this, and your info may add something to help.

Then throw away that phone. They very likely won't care about you at all or try to trace you in any manner, but at least you won't worry that they are. And call from a different area of town where you don't live or work.

EDIT: I see you're in the UK. Call the US Embassy and ask to speak to the FBI or ICE attache. Tell them you have information for the JTTF. They can connect you to the right people.

The FBI tips link would do. Use public WiFi to submit the tip and that should be sufficient to obscure your identity more than they're likely to investigate.

If you are based in the U.K, just contact one of the numerous anti terrorist hotlines that you see advertised around train stations and on buses. The information will be filtered to the right people, I don't believe they will chase you up; it seems like you have seen something that is suspicious online.
