Hey I'm sure you guys know what Au Pairs are but basically (young) foreign women who come to America (or other western countries) to help with childcare for the opportunity to live abroad. I am wondering if there are any programs like this for those who are single and/or have no kids.

Basically I am thinking of this as an opportunity to meet young foreign women and essentially have them fulfill the same responsibilities as a housewife (sans kids...for now). The nice thing about this vs. a mail order bride is that you get basically a test run before deciding if you want to keep her for longer.

I wouldn't do it. I had a relationship with a girl that worked as an au pair and she got approached by guys who had the same plan as you. She didn't like the idea and said it must be scary to have to sleep in a single guys house knowing that guy wants sex.

I am sure you can find one that wants to take up your offer, but I don't think most will do it because they see it as a way to have a relationship with a foreign guy. If they wanted that they would use a dating site.

A lot of girls in poor countries sacrifice themselves to work abroad or be a mail order bride because they need to pay for medicine for a sick relative, support a deadbeat dad and brothers, pay for school of younger siblings,...

Some people just take any opportunity to get out of poverty, which means they are willing to take risks, like flying all across the world to end up all alone in some guys house that shows a sexual interest. Seems scary for a poor girl isn't it?

If I would be in your shoes I would be very vlear about the romantic and sexual interest. Otherwise it might become akward for the both of you.

Why don't you use a normal dating site or better yet visit some places where you might think to find the right girl for the job.

I used to hang around with a guy a few years back who had like 3 women here who lived with him, I don't recall what type of program it was or if it was au pairs. Typically au pairs live with the family they work for. I used to date a bunch of them, there must be a community in my area where they have the au pair programs as many of them live in one city and I think they have meetings and outings and encourage the girls to hang around with each other.

As far as your plan, I don't think it will work as I dobut they are going to place young single women with a young single guy, I would think families or couples woudl be more likely, plus why would you wind up letting some organization essentially place you into a LTR with someone who they pick?

This is more of a plan you should come back around to if you ever find yourself divorced with kids. Even if it results in no bangs, it will at least piss off your ex wife.

Plus if you are leaving your cute au pair at home with your kid while you go out on dates with a domestic chick, it should trigger pre selection tingles in both of them.

Single and no kids...not worth it.

This is a classic: "Seems good, but is not"
First - There are no such programs.
Second - If you want to "import" someone, you'll need a visa for it. On what ground are you going to apply?
Three - This will raise question of "human trafficking"/prostitution.
Four - Girls are not dumb. You might get played. You'll need to pay them a salary for being there.

Couchsurfing sounds better

Just put an ad on Craiglist. There are plenty of broke bishes willing to trade room & board for some housework.
