Night Street Game - Help
I'm not sure how to search for an answer to this question so I hope I'm not repeating myself.

So my buddy and I are sitting in the donair shop and there's these 3 girls sitting across from us (2 are cute). My buddy takes off to meet his gf and I'm sitting there. I go over to them and ask if I can join them since my buddy left. They say only if you buy us more fries. I deflect and tell them I'm broke (not true, should I have rephrased?)

Anyways I jokingly tell them I'm going to go back to my booth and wait for a proper invite over. I sat there for about 5 minutes while they were talking. I was getting random looks over from the not cute one. After 5 minutes of sitting there I was feeling like a fool so I left. My question is should I have left or stuck it out? I had nothing else going on tonight so there was no reason for me to leave.

Night street game is awesome...

But your reaction wasn't great there.

Re-thinking it, maybe you could have:

a) say "OK", buy the fries, sit down with the girls, and basically eat the fries as you normally would own own, making a token "want one?" gesture every so often. Immediately start telling them a cool story, or about your night so far, make it a fun convo.

b) say, "nah I'm not hungry" or "maybe", sit down with the girls, start banter. If they react badly, whatever, leave while chuckling.

d) take it as a sign they aren't in the mood (as opposed to a shit-test), harness your horniness, and go do proper street game outside to girls in a better mood.

That is a tough set to approach so Kudos for the attempt.

Street approaches at Night are easier than the situation you described. A few points:

1. In response to them asking you to buy fries, you could have said " I am more of a gin and tonic man" and use this as a segway into a conversation of the local bar scene. Mention that there is a bar that serves great drinks and has cool music. See if they bite and if they are down to party.

2. Your statement about your friend leaving and you needing company is too needy. It is basically asking if you can hang out with them tonight because you are alone with no friends. The only thing wrong with rolling Solo is if you show that you are insecure about it.

3. Once you ejected it was over. Waiting around for them to open you was a Hail Mary, a passive one. Make your move and eject if it doesn't work out. Don't linger in the background.

Thanks for the post. It is an interesting approach situation.

You asked for their permission, instead what you should have done was sit down at the table and have a chat.

Ask how their night was going, where are they from, what brings them out tonight, any old shit just to get them talking.

Once they start yapping you look like your interested and smile/nod.

If they are open to talking they will, if not they will freeze up at which point you excuse yourself, wish them a nice evening and be on your way.

Your goal should be to get the digits and go. I'd go more direct, I'd ask to sit and do before they respond.

I'd then zero in on the target, tell her I think she's hot but not as hot as me, she'd be punching above. Cocky funny. If she's interested and you have been successful in getting them talking for a bit she will give it to you.

A. If I was feeling gutsy and in your spot, I would tell them that aren't an enabler. It wouldn't be right since fries are bad for you etc. You have to read them to see how serious your tone has to be. You should be able to engage them and go from there, pushing their buttons.

B. You don't buy things for strangers. Then, you complain about how people look for handouts and tell them to get a job etc. All of this is done in a semi serious manner. Again, if you do it right, you will get them talking to you.

Of course, all of this is easier done in hindsight.
