Music Promoter Green Room has come under a hail of SJW fire after a social media shitstorm erupted over a Facebook comment about the all male lineup at the upcoming ANU bar (Australian National University) finale gig.

The man behind the terrible, sexist bookings and comments, Garry Peadon, has not backed down.

“I’ve never heard of ‘non-binary’ before,” Peadon says.

“When I book an act, I don’t sit down and think about the genre. The only genre I think about is, ‘Is it punk? Is it rock?’ I don’t sit there and go, ‘I need to put a female band on.’

“There are female bands out there that have caught my interest, but it’s not because they’re female, it’s because their music’s good.”

Peadon says the fact that people have called him out about his all-male lineup is “a bit ridiculous”.

Headline act Regurgitator, who started out as a half decent band before becoming complete faggots in the late '90s have now pulled out, and the ANU Student Union has gone against Green Room Promotions and invited performers "across all genres, nationalities and genders" to come and perform on the night.

A triumph of equality over quality.

Pretty blatant example of SJW's pushing forced diversity.

I bet they didn't attack his comment directly and argue why low quality female bands deserve a place. No, instead they would have used weasel words like 'problematic and hostile attitude' and 'culture of misogny'.

They know they don't have a leg to stand on when he says perfectly reasonable things like: “When I book an act, I don’t sit down and think about the genre. The only genre I think about is, ‘Is it punk? Is it rock?’ I don’t sit there and go, ‘I need to put a female band on.’

As for Regurgitator, they're just protecting their commercial interests. They don't want to associate their brand with a politically volatile event. They're not a band, they're a business.

Never heard any non-binary musicians. I bet the music would be crappy EDM-type shit with "lyrics" (usually rapped) about social justice.

The guy even said he in the radio interview that he asked female bands to attend:

The cynic in me says that Regurgitator know that most of their fans have progressive leanings and that this dramatised pearl clutching is calculated to boost their profits much more in album sales than the income from the concert.
