Share your results from the "8 Values" political test
Here is a new political test: http://8values.github.io

My results say I'm a "Right-wing populist" with a traditional authoritarian slant.

At the end of the test, it gives you an image with your results.

I am rated Social Liberalism. My sexual perversion, love of pharmaceuticals and counterculture opinions coupled with my pro second amendment sensibilities makes for an eclectic designation-but I don't think this term is appropriate, I prefer Independent Constitutionalist Patriot.

RE: Share your results from the "8 Values" political test
I got an almost perfectly balanced result.

Looks about right as I am not fanatical about any mainstream political opinion and I usually try to come up with third way solutions that factor both sides of the coin instead of taking position of one side blindly.

For instance I recognize the usefulness of both tradition and progress. It pains me that these two values conflict so often so I often try to find a solution in my own life satisfies both of them to the best degree. This combined solution however is circumstantial, sometimes it is best to be more traditional and sometimes it is best to be more progressive. Each situation is different. Some traditions are Wisdom and some are superstitions. Some progressive views are shams and some are hardcore science. Always favoring one side over other without careful consideration of particular circumstances is losing your humanity and becoming an automation for that particular ideological point.

I also believe that in diplomacy there can be no favoring of war or peace. The right tactic should be chosen based on character of your partner/enemy. Just like in game - you cannot be always nice by default or always be an asshole by default. You must read the woman's body language and shit tests correctly and act accordingly. As Miyamoto Musashi wrote in his book of five rings: "A strategist has no favorite weapon".

I got right wing populism, with similar results to Roosh.

P.S How do you share the image without attaching it?

RE: Share your results from the "8 Values" political test
I am confused about this term - right wing populism.

There is nothing much populist in the Right aside from pandering to evangelic Christians, the left is much more populist by appealing to the myriad of degenerates and one issue voters they have.

Is there such a term and result in this test as left wing populism?

I feel left is aiming to achieve another victory in vocabulary wars by slowly equating terms "right" with "populism".

Interesting that there were no questions about sex or immigration. I guess the problem with immigration, though, is that it can be considered both an economic and cultural issue.

Also, nothing about tariffs, although I guess the question about the European Union is a proxy for that. If I recall correctly, though, Helmut Kohl's vision of the European Union was that it would be a neoliberal union, rather than a socialist or interventionist union imposing a lot of unnecessary taxes and regulation. Rather, in an E.U. led by neoliberals, countries that tried to go in a socialist direction would lose workers, customers, and capital to countries with freer markets. Europeans would cross borders freely within the European Union, but there wouldn't be a mass influx of non-European refugees into Europe.

The United Nations, on the other hand, was always intended as a way of spreading leftism worldwide. It was, after all, dreamed up by Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Its Charter speaks of using the Great Powers' military strength, rather than free markets and free trade, to bring about world peace. It also sets up a lot of bureaucracy for central planning of education, culture, science, law, etc.

About where expected (guess I'm not quite a fascist yet...)

Like I saw yesterday on /pol/, not the greatest quiz:
>equates standing up for country's interests with anti-peace
>equates traditionalism with anti-progress

They're not dichotomous, but whatever...

I saved it via MS Paint and uploaded it onto Imgur, but there’s probably a simpler way.

I was conflicted on how to answer the question on the European Union, since I am not in principle opposed to the concept of brotherhood under some sort of European alliance, although I’d wish for it to take another form. The lack of room for nuance is the main issue with these tests; political opinions, though similarly convoluted, are hardly mathematical equations, and it is very difficult, if not impossible, to leave space for details in these simplistic analyses of individual opinion. These tests are good enough for shits and giggles, I suppose.

It happened to me, too! It’s very odd, considering I’ve disabled my browser cookies.

I seem to be a centrist, though a militarized slightly authoritarian one.

But alas - their views are limited frankly, since my views on economy and the ideal system are too far off from the common left-right paradigm.

The entire matrix probably shifts some 5-10% either to the left or right if you support one of the core issues that are part of the stupid paradigms that they create for the proles.

Not too surprised being an atheist living in a secular, social democracy of Norway. and fairly happy with current politics. Apart from muslim immigration.

Sums it up pretty well for me. Might be nice if they came out with something a little more detailed, though.

Neo-liberalism, apparently.

Many of the questions demanded much more nuanced answers than I was allowed to give. I don't think my results were all that accurate.

At least on Quora, nobody seems to agree on what's the difference between neoliberalism and libertarianism.
