Red Bull’s CEO Is Reportedly Launching A Right-Wing News Platform That’s Being Compared To Breitbart

Red Bull has become much more than just an energy drink company over the past two decades. The Austrian company has held the electronic music-focused Red Bull Music Academy event series annually since 1998 and has built upon this cultural platform with radio programming, an exhibition space in New York City, and an artist residency program in Detroit. Now, as artnet News points out, CEO Dietrich Mateschitz has announced a new, independent venture: a right-wing news organization that is being compared to Breitbart.

In an interview with Austrian newspaper Kleine Zeitung on April 8, Mateschitz was critical of Germany and Austria's lenient policies on refugees, rallied against "intellectual elites" and political correctness, and expressed his support for Trump. He also announced plans for his new media platform Näher an die Wahrheit, which translates to Closer to the Truth. Mateschitz described the venture as a “research platform” and said it would operate independently of Red Bull.

In a statement to The FADER, a representative for Red Bull said, "Mr. Mateschitz gave a personal interview - published on April 8th, 2017. Our company values freedom of mind and encourages open conversation."

Though the platform is still yet to be launched, Mateschitz's politics have raised concerns. An article published in Handelsblatt, a German business paper, compared the billionaire's media venture and its proposed right-wing populist platform to Breitbart. The original interview with Mateschitz has not been widely reported on by English news outlets, but Breitbart picked up the story and reported on the interview in a post with the headline "Red Bull Boss Slams Mass Migration, Forced Multiculturalism."

In the end, every citizen must suffer suffering from these political conditions. Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz (ÖVP) on the other hand, Mateschitz is positive. "He is very intelligent, courageous and charismatic.


"Trump is not such an idiot as you put it"
Mateschitz was also very well informed about the new US President Donald Trump. "I do not think he is such an idiot as he is posed, and when you speak to Americans, you often hear that they are always happy that there is a new administration, the former one has more in many respects As questioned, "says Mateschitz. Many things at Trump were criticized in the public wrongly. "You just have to give Trump time."

"Russia is a part of Europe"
Mateschitz Trumps is trying to make a dialogue with Russia. "Russia is a part of Europe, and what else, if not an initial dialogue, should be effective, but the dictum of the politically correct says: Russia is a rogue state, the evil par excellence, and we are the good ones And I will not be able to do it, but I will not be able to do it myself. "" I do not need anyone to tell me who my enemies are. "

Fuck those traitors - he is risking significant kickback and does it anyway. And he is right - a destroyed Europe will not consume his drinks anyway.

Actually most guys at the very top think like Trump or are even more extreme. The really note-worthy thing is that he dares to speak out publicly and do something. That is the big news.

That would be true if the world were not ruled by trillionaires. If you are lucky as a billionaire you realize later that you are merely a small fish in the pond. Opposing the truly big boys would not be wise. Many of them do not even fear losing to start-ups. Old money is diversified across hundreds of channels and even if the businesses go bust, they would still be left with a billion plus.

Mateschitz is a self-made billionaire who marketed the existing Red Bull product from Thailand worldwide - he pumped close to all revenue in the beginning back to marketing. I doubt he thinks about leaving a dynasty and joining the globalist class like Bill Gates.

If you think that you can do whatever the fuck you want as a billionaire then you are mistaken. You can do a lot, but you may not significantly oppose the Big Boys.

Currently it reached barely local news in Austria. It has not been picked up by the international media.

Remember the Red Bull girls who drove around in the little mini coopers that were modified with the big can on top? I never saw one that was over 26/27 and less than a 8.

He won't see significant backlash because all the shit he's involved in, he's usually got some kind of ownership stake. He owns not one, but two F1 teams. He owns a f1 race track. He's involved in almost every form of Motorsport worth mentioning.

Most product boycotts that happen for political reasons don't last that long. People like their Starbucks, chick fill a, and their Red Bull too much.
