Is college game really that different than regular game? I've been reading everywhere how one should abandon all these pickup techniques in college and shouldn't ever cold approach because you'll turn into "that guy" on campus quickly. Btw I've read bang and double your dating that's really the extent of my pickup knowledge. Anyways people will begin to notice and girls will automatically reject you because your "that guy" on campus. I know rejection is a good thing but idk if that type of rejection is good hah.

I am moving into my dorm in a week (Freshman year), not really too experienced with gaming girls but reading bang and scrolling through posts on this forum have helped me dramatically. I'm still a virgin (F me I know) but got very close recently and fucked up during end game, next time a girl gives me lmr im not gonna abandon ship As soon as I moved in I was gonna cold approach every girl I could and try to perfect my game as much I could, but now I'm not sure if I should carry out that plan.

There's another e-book called "conquer your campus", that's supposedly an entire book on college game, college openers, and based on the preview; it really emphasizes how college game is different. In a review it said how the book revolves around "social circle game" which i'm not too familiar with; im guessing rising to the top of the social circles on campus ie: Top Dog? I'm sure the techniques in bang will work in college because game is game, but now i'm hesistant on really trying to focus and practice my game in college. Especially because I'm not going to a large university, it's just a smaller campus so I feel like being labeled as "that guy" would be iminent.

If anyone here has read "conquer your campus" and could recommend the purchase that would be great. I've also heard that no guys even need game during college but as long as you go to parties and talk to girls you'll get laid, I just wanted to try and maximize my potential during my college years.

Does anyone have any tips on college game or some clarification on the supposed differences between regular game and college game? Any advice at all would be much appreciated because I know these freshman girls are gonna be crazy haha and I have a feeling it's not a good kind of crazy.

Try reading a few of the other college threads, there's some good info.

Also, I skimmed through the "Conquer Your Campus" book out of curiosity once. I'm not nearly an expert on game, so take this with a grain of salt, but it doesn't look like its worth paying for. It's got some okay stuff, but if you really want to read through it then you're better off not paying for it.

I think they just mean you have to be a little more careful on what you say, no crazy tactics (like the "this is your last chance to fuck with me" nuke text that some dude posted) that might get you labelled as a creep since word does get around. But still, college is sporadic and even if you're known as "that guy" you can still get laid easily. Hell, if you do good and word gets around, it'll probably help you if anything.

Don't pay any attention to someone who says that.

What you WANT to be known as: Sociable.
What you don't want to be known as: Creepy.

There's a fine line, just don't cross it and you'll have women lining up to bang you. Ok, maybe not quite... but bang a few girls in college and it will work to your advantage... contrary to what some of these naive college bloggers think.

It also depends on how large your campus is. Where I went to school we had about 20,000 students. In a smaller campus, I can see why you wouldn't want it getting around that you were trying to pick up every girl in sight... but as long as you don't come across as a creep you'll be fine.

You're worrying too much. I had a friend who sounded exactly like you going into his freshman year. I was older and he kind of looked up to me like a big brother. He was scared shitless, never got laid in HS etc. etc. etc. He tears it up now, like absolutely destroys it.

Just focus on being social, making friends, and being a cool dude and you'll do fine.

A couple quick tips that all avoid being "that guy":

1. Make sure you develop a good social circle. Make tons of friends, you won't immediately know which ones you want to keep long-term, so this was my strategy.

-note- try to be friends with everyone, but make sure you're going out to parties with the 'cool kids', and not staying in with the dorks who don't want to have any fun and push the limits while at college. Those kids are easily identifiable because they'll do one or all of the following: go home every weekend, never drink, play lots of video games, never break any dorm rules (curfew, alcohol, etc), won't play sports, never go to any parties/bars, and best of all they'll somehow all be friends with each other by the end of the year. If you're like me, they'll eventually look down on you, but that is irrelevant because you'll never sleep with any of the girls in that group anyway, as they're mostly content being asexual.

2. Don't hit on the girls that live on your floor. One of my roommates did this IN FRONT OF THE GIRL'S BOYFRIEND, and was instantly ostracized. I saved face by cutting a WWF-style promo on him to completely distance myself as well, he moved out at the semester, it was ugly.

3. Feel free to hit on friends visiting girls you meet in your dorm, ESPECIALLY if they don't go to the school. They're up there to have a good time, help them have one.

4. Don't hit on close friends of girls on your floor that live in nearby dorms, or elsewhere in your dorm. The exception here is friends they make while you're living there.

5. Feel free to hit on girls that live on a different floor from you, girls that you see in the dining area, or girls that live in adjacent dorms. I used to make sure I had no fewer than 3 girls I was working on at a time, usually all in different dorms, but at the very least on different floors.

6. Don't be shy. Whatever you do, you need to be friendly with these people, because a huge part of college is making new friends.

7. Don't waste a bunch of time playing video games in your dorm room. The only time I played games was when there was at least 4 people in the room and it was a social thing, not a nerdy thing.

8. You'll see in other threads my advice for picking up girls in class, the best move is to invite them to smoke, or party with you. I'd go indirect if you're not inviting them to party, IE - invite them to study, and then ease into the fun stuff with a popular movie (Hangover 1 or 2 would be a good choice).

you wrote to much. College game is the easiest game out there because everyone is friendly for the most part. Just approach and don't act like a retard.

College game is a more refined adaptation of high school game. Everyone wants to look cool, and doesn't want to be with someone who lowers their status or embarrasses them.

If you're going for average girls, you just need to be perceived as higher value than her. The hottest girls are all gunning for the same small set of high-status guys; if you're not in that group of guys, you are wasting your time with them.

The sub-25 set values these things in this order:
1. Looks (face),
2. Body,
3. Coolness.

Alpha status: Extremely handsome guy > jocks/captains > club presidents > party guy central.

College game is really, really easy if you focus on girls that are just one notch BELOW you in the looks department. Be very careful about dating ugly or fat girls, as that will lower YOUR status. Even banging them is risky because the gossip will spread. If you're barely a 5 yourself, then you can ignore those last couple of sentences.

Also remember that college is the best time of your life to make yourself into a successful man. Don't waste it all chasing poon. Learn things. Work out religiously.

Try to Game girls from different social circles.

Keep a girl or 2 from your social group , PLUS, an athlete, a party girl, a study buddy type, a white girl, a latina, an asian, etc, Work the international students. A rich girl, a poor girl. A drama/musician chick, a freshman, a senior. A girl who doesn't even go to school there but works on campus.

Work these different circles and keep things "on the low". When i was in school, I would purposely go to areas of campus where i never went before, just to meet girls in different majors, programs, etc. Try to work groups that would never communicate with each other. Those girls would never hang out in the same areas or talk to the same people.


Join a band, join a frat, join a team, join a club.
