To be honest, they don't really need the geek squad..

The recent developments (vault 7, then Wannacry) which shook the entire IT industry to its knees can and should teach every computer user one simple thing; there is no expectation of annonymity and/or privacy once you decide to connect a computer on the network.

Governments have been using zero days to snoop on peoples computers and phones. Consider how much they already know about us even without going into social media.

If the NSA exploits leaked by the shadow brokers are just a tip of the iceberg (and they are), how much more information have they been able to gather surreptitiously from people and organizations? The Eternal blue exploit used by Wannacry used just two of the exploits, and look at how much damage was done. Now think about the less obvious, covert exploits like Eternal Rocks. Think of all the other exploits that we don't know about.

If you're gonna be creepy, don't use your PC to do it.

Find other avenues.
